Kitchen Lighting Ideas For Low Ceilings

This was done in an old farmhouse that had really low ceilings. Basically, they took off the lowest part and cleaned/touched up the (I think 200 year old?) wood beneath it. Pretty cool, no? I thought it was a great rustic look. And it even goes well with the modern kitchen :D
