Lemon Poppy Seed Cupcakes with Blackberry Frosting

Note that if you really wanted to save time, you could use store-bought blackberry preserves. I do find that the flavor is better when you use real berries.

• 1 tsp Baking powder

• 1/2 tsp Baking soda

• 1 1/2 tbsp Poppy seeds

• 4 cups Powdered sugar

• 1/2 tsp Salt

• 1 tsp Vanilla extract

• 1 cup White sugar

Dairy

• 1 1/2 cup Butter, unsalted

• 1 tbsp Cream or cream

• 2/3 cup Sour cream
