Garmisch, Germany - Zugspitze (the highest peak in Germany)
Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany: spent many, many holidays here when I was a kid. Probably the BEST food in Germany. Schnitzel, spatzle, and the skiing is great too. Train ride in (from anywhere) is absolutely amazing!
