Cashmere: Our Softest Throw, Reinvented
Cashmere originated in the Kashmir region north of the Indian Subcontinent as early as the Mongolian empire in the 13th century. The fiber comes from the soft undercoat of the Cashmere Goat, which is protected by a top coat of coarse hair. During the spring molting season, this cashmere undercoat is meticulously combed and separated from the top coat. Only the fiber from the Cashmere Goat can truly be considered 'cashmere'.
