A whole new world from Mac’s later work. Such an insane and pretty innovative sound that just fills in those gaps in my brain. A glorious piece of music from Mac once again elliotttbaker
I stopped listening to this album because it would have made me cry remembering the person who showed it to me. But, well, not all memories remain so distant :) foggy
Piano, clarinet, guitar, and modular synth intermingle on the intricate, Calder-like constructions of Colorodan M. Sage. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 29, 2025
The modest production makes this the most intimate album so far as of 2024. It feels like a live venue recording where you can hear fingers on guitars and micro tempo misses on the keyboard, human touches that otherwise get sanitized away in a pro studio. I wish that TOPS would release a good recording of one of their concerts! Any set list would make a worthwhile live album. loafing_oaf
