I build, and I have never stopped: fifteen years full-stack, and the day I become a leader who only points at code instead of making it is a day I would not recognize myself. AI has been my daily collaborator since early 2023, and it has made me markedly more capable.

I ship ambitious, finished work in territory I could never have written by hand alone, and my judgment is what makes that output worth keeping: I know good work from the convincing imitation of it, and I hold the line there. This is the most alive my work has felt in years. I think in several paths at once, read people as the individuals they are, and decisively move.

I love a hard problem with a deadline: I bring the calm, make it look easy, and leave behind a little magic.

How I build

  • Code is a liability, not an asset.
  • Favor subtraction over addition.
  • The first problem is rarely the real problem.
  • Double-check things. Twice.
  • You are not your code.

The Yay Company

Senior Director, Engineering & Product Development

I scaled the platform from a small pilot into a battle-hardened, rate-limited, performance-tuned machine that hums. It moves 50,000+ meals a week across fourteen states, and I make it better every single day.

Paper Pillbox

A printable medication chart maker, built with Claude in a single two-hour evening and given away free forever. Type in the meds, print the chart, tape it to the fridge: big hyperlegible type, a drawing of each pill, clean in black and white. Nothing you enter ever leaves the browser — no accounts, no ads, no analytics.

Bitcoin Echo

A full, experimental Bitcoin protocol implementation in pure C, built from zero prior C experience with Claude Code as a daily collaborator. Roughly 30,000 lines, around 1,000 passing tests, zero dependencies. Designed to freeze forever upon completion: built for permanence, not continued development.

The Fool Zero

Five albums of dub electronica built as a tarot deck: draw a card, hear a track. The newest singles I made in collaboration with Claude and Suno, from lyrics through cover art. I make music the way I build software.
