chief Buddy, that hiss hits you first like bad PA static, but give it a lap or two and it turns into campfire smoke in the pines. You drift, you wander, you forget which tune is which, but that's the trick, man—this ain't spotlight stuff, it's candle-in-the-corner dungeon murk. Call it a scruffy 7 outta 10 and let it hum while you pour another. Favorite track: Passage IV: A Sunny Hilltop.

captainfez Solid incidental questing music. Favorite track: Passage V: The Belfry.

Spellseer Melodic, melancholy; a cohesive tape that's easy to play again and again... Favorite track: Passage III: Marshlands.

really like the idea of using this "rushing-noise" as a stilistic instrument.

about

Based on a dusty journal found in the archives of the Skeleton Mage, containing the writings of a lonely pilgrim in search of the elusive Belfry at World's Edge.

The lonely pilgrim stood at a crossroads, pondering which path to take. He carried no map, no compass. Some days he walked north, then turned south the next. It made no difference, for the road he sought was sometimes here, sometimes there, and never in the same place twice. Minutes, then hours passed, and the pilgrim stood still. Then, he heard the faint toll of a bell, and he knew which direction to follow.

The trail was old and dusty. It passed beneath arches of crumbling stone, wound through woods and bogs, and climbed over rolling hills. It stretched on and on, past the limits of any map, until it reached the very edge of the world. There, on brown and dusty cliffs, stood a white building with many windows. And from the building rose a white tower crowned with spires. And at the peak of the tower hung a bronze bell that shone in the evening skyfire.

Then, it tolled again, and the pilgrim felt the sound move through him, and he realised that he no longer remembered why he walked. For once, he knew that he could stop awhile, for he had found a place to rest not only his body but also his soul. And the hole deep within him began to slowly close, and the weariness of decades spent wandering the world started to fade away. And at last, in the white house at world’s edge, he became whole again.
