It only really fully set in as I looked at Kaya close up that turning into a Protoframe looks absolutely excruciatingly painful. I know it’s obvious it is, and we’ve heard how horrible and especially painful it was from Lettie. But there’s something about seeing the physical irreversible damage that really emphasizes that pain.
Like on Kaya’s skin, you can really see how her arms are a weird mix of being both Warframe, organic, and void-touched. The same goes with Lettie’s legs somewhat.
The body scarring from the infestation being pretty heavy where there’s skin shown, thankfully with the exception of the face pretty much. But just damn, I feel even worse for all of them now seeing the physical evidence of their transformations
And with all of this, I really emphasize with people like Aoi who’s able to keep everyone together while also keeping high spirits. Like what the hell can I please just give them all a hug already
