A customer services platform for Nama Electricity Distribution Company, Oman's national electricity distributor. I ran the project and led the engineering — scoping with the client, shaping the architecture, and taking it through to delivery.
Restaurant platform · 2025
A multi-tenant SaaS for restaurants — ordering, inventory, and analytics — taken from an empty repository to paying customers in under six months. I built the backend, the Flutter apps, and the infrastructure they run on.
Tourism app · 2024
A government-commissioned Flutter app for a 17th-century Omani castle: self-guided audio tours, interactive maps, and ticketing. Built to public-sector security and compliance requirements, and shipped to the App Store.

AI-assisted and sustainable technology products. Systems architecture, rapid prototyping, and getting things in front of users.

Full-stack delivery across 20+ businesses: ERP systems for schools, restaurant POS, QR menu platforms serving 15K monthly views, and wallet-integrated digital cards. Major projects for Oman Arab Bank and government bodies including NCSI.
2021 — 2022
Platform work on a privacy-focused Android device. Upstreamed Android Q to R, and chased down stability and performance regressions.

Custom ROMs, kernel work, device bring-ups, and HAL integrations. Where I learned how the layers actually fit together.
I started out flashing custom ROMs onto phones on XDA, which is a slow way to learn that every abstraction is hiding something. It taught me to read the layer below the one I was working in.
That habit is most of what I do now. I take products from an empty repository to something real people depend on — architecture, backend, mobile, and the servers it all runs on. I've done it for startups, for enterprises, and for government clients, where being wrong is expensive and the compliance review is not a formality.
I care about the parts users never consciously notice: the request that returns before they wonder if it will, the deploy that doesn't wake anyone, the interface that responds the instant it's touched. Get enough of those right and software stops feeling like software.
Outside of it: music, photography, and a standing commitment to finding the best food in whatever city I'm in.
