What a Cutie

This little cutie is from Createful Heart our sponsor at Outlawz Sketch this month.  It's called Deer Cheer Reindeer Gift.

I've coloured the image with Copics.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

I've used some scrapbook papers for the background.

There's a section of white ric rac, but over the top of this I decided to add some icicles cut with a die.  I've added some DecoArt glitter to this and to the wooden Christmas sentiment.  I've also used a couple of white heart buttons.

Thanks for popping by for a look today, we hope to see you at the challenge

The image has been coloured with Copics.

My design paper is from Lemoncraft and I've also used some black card.

I've finished the image off with a twist of skinny ribbon from my stash and two black gems,

Just because.....

We're sponsored by Createful Heart this month at Outlawz Sketch.  The image I'm using for my inspiration today is Hettie's Daisy, you can find it here.

I've coloured the image with Copics then frames it with black card.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

My design papers are from First Edition, I picked some lovely bright ones to go with the colouring of the image.  I've used a Fantasy die with some scrap paper to make the tiny yellow banners.

The card has been finished with some tiny silver dragonfly charms, a wooden flower button and a sentiment made from Tim Holtz stickers :)

Snowy Truck

A new month and a new sponsor at Outlawz Sketch.  I love this image Worn Out Truck from Createful Heart.

I'm trying to get into Christmas card mode so I've decided to make a wintery scene for this one.

The image is coloured with Copics, I've scattered some white embossing enamel for snow as well as using a white polychromos pencil.  For the snow on the truck and ground I've used Snowtex.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design paper has been in my stash for ages, it's from Bo Bunny and I've used some black card.

The sentiment is a Scrapiniec on and I've used some black pearls to finish.

Thanks for popping by today, we hope to see you at the challenge

All Wrapped

I've decided to make another Christmas card for my latest inspiration at Outlawz Sketch.  I've had this image from our current sponsor, Createful Heart, for a little while but never had chance to use it.

For a change I picked my papers first, then coloured it with Copics to match.  I've tried to add in a blue glow from the Christmas lights and a wooden floor.  All in non traditional Christmas colours,

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

My design papers are from First Edition.  All the papers and the image have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

I went hunting in my Christmas embellies boxes and found this Christmas pudding ribbon.  Not even sure where I got it I've had it that long!

The sentiment was bought from Hobby Craft last week (they're starting to get their stock in).  I coloured this with Copic as well to fit in with the theme.

Hope you like my inspiration for this week and we see you at the challenge

NEED COFFEEEEEE...... :)

We're being sponsored by Createful Heart this month at Outlawz Sketch.  I've chosen to use Coffee Buddies for my inspiration.  Mainly the COFFEE part :D

Unusual for me I picked my papers first, I hardly ever do that!

To match my papers I've coloured the image with Copics in two different greys and aquas.

I hand cut the image to fit inside the die cut border.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

I've flipped mine on its side and missed out the ribbons.  Instead of the buttons I've used two wooden hearts and in the centre of these a Coffee sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with Copics.

My design papers are from First Edition and Maja Design, the aqua frame was cut with a Spellbinders die.

Thanks for popping by for a look today, we hope we see you at the challenge

Hello.... ;)

We're sponsored by Createful Heart this month at Outlawz Sketch

I've used Dragonfly Hi for my inspiration.  The image has been coloured with Copics.  Once coloured I've added some embossing enamel and distressed the edges.

Here's our sketch for this week, which I've cheated a little on, but you can still see the influence of the sketch (I hope) :)

My design papers are from Hobby Craft and 13 Arts and I've also used some black card.

The banners were cut with a Fantasy die, I've added a few black gems and the Cheers sentiment coloured with Copics is from Make It Crafty.

Here in Yorkshire "Cheers" is another way for saying thanks if you didn't know already :)

At Outlawz Sketch we're being sponsored by Createful Heart this month.

I've used Worn Out Truck for my inspiration.

I've coloured the image with Copics giving it a rusty look :)

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've used a Spellbinders die to cut the image out and a Fantasy die for the chevrons.  The design paper is from First Edition along with some black card and some corrugated Kraft.

The final addition is a couple of cogs from Tim Holtz

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Blue Sports

This is the final week of the month of sponsorship by Createful Heart at Outlawz Sketch.

I've coloured the image with Copics, but done something you're not supposed to do.  I've bleached out some of the colour with a blender pen.  I wanted to see if I could get a worn shiny look (if that makes sense).  I think I achieved it?  Anyway.......

Here's our sketch for this week.

I've used black card and design paper from Studio Light.

There are a couple of strip of ric rak to fit in with the sketch.

I've added a few wooden embellishments to fit in with a travelling theme (bought in Hobby Craft) and a wooden sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copic.

Hope you like my inspiration this week end we see you at the challenge.

Blue Birds

I've used Birdhouse for my inspiration this week.

This image has been coloured with Copics.  I've cut the shape of the inside of my die cut but it was slightly too big so I've fussy cut some of it :)

Here's our sketch for this week

I've used a Spellbinders die cut for the fancy border cut in black card.  I've used some more black card and some design paper from Lemoncraft.

The edges of the design paper were distressed.  I've then added some flat back pearl string you can get from The Ribbon Girl.  The tiny brass corner were bought from Noor Design.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Pops of colour

I've done quite a bit of mixing monochromatic with pops of colour for this weeks inspiration at Outlawz Sketch

I've been practising colouring flowers with my Copics again :)
Once coloured I cut the image out with a Spellbinders die.  To take the sharp white off the edges I distressed it with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.

Here's our sketch for this week

I actually used a compass to draw out the two larger circles behind the image in red and black card, then hand cut them.  This was the first time I've done this and I'm impressed I didn't mess it up LOL!  It give the image a beautiful framed effect.

I've used some more black and red card and one design paper from Dovecraft.  The design paper was also distressed with Tim Holtz black soot ink.

I've left off the extra embellishments this week to showcase the image for you.  All I've added are a few red gems and some rhine stones.

Hope you like my inspiration for this weeks and we see you at the challenge

Sunny Sunflowers

Hello its Wednesday again :)
We're sponsored at Createful Heart at Outlawz Sketch this month.  I've used Sunny Sunflowers for my inspiration today

The image has been coloured with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.  I've then framed it with some black card.

Here's our sketch for this week.

I've used some more black card and design papers from Studio Lite and UHK Gallery.

I've opted to miss off the flowers from the sketch and instead add a Thank you sentiment to one corner.  This is a wood chip one from Scrapienic,

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Love this combination

January's sponsor at Outlawz Sketch is Creatful Heart - Mary is one of or design team ladies there :)

I'm using Flower Patch Butterfly for my inspiration today.

I've coloured the image with Copics.  I've also invested in some cheap glitter gel pens (I saw them in a local supermarket).  I've used the gold one around the centre of the flowers.  I also used a while gel pen.  I wasn't quite sure where I was going with this one I just knew I wanted a contrast.  Love how it came out but then I had to do a LOT of hunting in my design papers.

Here's our sketch for this week.

I cut my image out with a Spellbinders die.  I didn't like the plain background I'd coloured, so I attached it with Copic blender LOL!!

The design papers I've used are from UHK Gallery, Lemoncraft and Joy Crafts.  In the bottom right corner I've added some blue gems  and finally a Thank You sentiment from Scrapiniec.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Winter Truck

Not long ago I won a Guest Design spot at Creatful Heart.  This is my creation for them using a Winter theme for their current challenge.

I didn't have many "Winter" images so I had to think outside the box for this one.  I didn't take the easy option and just used a Christmas image :)

You can find Worn Out Truck here

I wanted to do a mainly monochromatic card with a pop of colour.  I've created a winter sky and used a brighter blue for the truck so it stands out.  As the truck is supposed to be worn out I decided to try and add some patina so it looks rusty.  I've done all this was Copics and I just love how it came out.  The background of snow was created using a white polychromos pencil and white gel pen.

I've used some black card for framing the image and card.  The snowy design paper has been in my stash for ages - I think its a BeBunny one.

So create a real wintery feel I've added lashings of snowtex.  The Winter Wishes is wooden I got this in Hobby Craft and the December sentiment is a wood chip element I got from Scrap and Craft.

Hope you love my creation and enter the challenge :)

Cozy Christmas

Have you seen this beautiful image from Createful Heart - it's called Christmas Eve Kitty.  If you want to practice some colouring it's just perfect!
I've coloured the image using Copics and framed it with some black card.

The design papers are from Docrafts, Santoro and Lili of the Valley.

To embellish the card I've added some black gems and some wooden number I got in Hobbycraft.

Hope you love creation
