Perfume Gift Bag

Today is our new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.

I've had a play with Wendy's new Love Potion image.  I just thought it was a perfect image to make a small perfume gift bag.

Here's a bit of a close up of the centre on the bag.  The image was coloured with Copics.  Cut out and distressed with vintage photo ink and a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've also added some embossing enamel for extra detail.  The centre of the image has been covered with DecoArt glitter.

This is the full bag :)

I've added some red roses that I'd got from The Ribbon Girl ages ago.  Underneath this you can see a wooden LOVE sentiment.  This was a left over from my wedding that I'd been hanging into which I finally found a use for!  The flowers have also been wound up the handle of the bag and a section of cream lace tied around the handle.

I've used some Paris scrapbook papers from UHK Gallery, all distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

The other thing I haven't mentioned are the tiny pearl strips around the edge of the bag :)

You can see more inspiration for new release images from the Dressy Girls on the challenge blog and in the Facebook Group

Vintage style

We're being sponsored this month by All Dressed Up at the Outlawz Sketch challenge.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've cute the image out with a Spellbinders die, the edges were then distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.  I've then sprinkled two different colours of embossing enamel around the image.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

My design papers are from First Edition and Lemoncraft (also distressed with the same ink).

Underneath the image is a section of lace (instead of paper).  I've also added a couple of sections of film strip from Tim Holtz.

My final embellishments are some brown rose organza trim, a couple of paper flowers and a tiny resin photo frame.

Thanks for popping by today, we hope to see you at the challenge

Posing

The final challenge of the month for Outlawz Sketch (hmmm has someone speeded time up, this month seems to have gone very quickly).

We're sponsored by DigiStamp4Joy for July.  I'm using Party Shoes for my inspiration.

My image has been coloured with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.

Here's our sketch for this week.

My design papers are from First Edition and Studio Light.  I've also used some black card.  All of these were distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

The black and white ribbon has been in my stash for ages.  I've tied a tag onto it.  The tag was cut using a Marianne Craftables die, I've hand cut papers in the same colours as the card to get the layered effect.  The shoe is a dress it up button.  Finally to finish some black gems

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge.

Got a pink thing goin on

Originally when I made this digi I was using black sandals as my idea.  Obviously my head thinks pink a lot (favourite colour)

The image was coloured with ProMarkers and plychromos pencils.  I've cut it with a Spellbinders die, distressed the edges with vintage photo ink from Tim Holtz and then sprinkled two types of Stampendous embossing enamel onto it before heating.  There's some back card behind cut with a Spellbinders die to frame it.

I've just recently stocked up my pink flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts - here a close up of the arrangement on my card.  here are also a few twigs (laser cut wood chip from Scrapienic).  The white you can see to give it a shabby look is actually snowtex (an experiment hee hee).

Below is the finished shaped card.  The base was covered with black card (hand cut to fit).  The papers used are from Maya Designs and Studio Lite.  There are also some left over off cuts.  The the design papers were distressed.

My final embellishments to the card are a birthday sentiment from Scrapiniec, a tiny wooden heart which I got off eBay, some pearl gems and a wooden heart (table confetti from the wedding section in Hobby Craft).

Hope you like my inspiration for today
