Winter Gnome

 I'm sharing my inspiration for the last SheepSki Designs Facebook challenge.  We've decided to discontinue them due to lack of entries.

The current challenge starts today 20th December and will run through to 19 January 2024.

I've coloured the image with Copics, adding some embossing enamel for snow.

Stomper

Today is Outlawz Sketch day, we don't have a sponsor this month so I've decided to use Wild Flower for my inspiration.  you can find the image here at the SheepSki Designs shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've created a little scene for the gnome and as you can see he's a bit of a stomper, walking all over the wild flowers in the grass.  think it might be something to do with not being able to see because of the hat!!

This is our sketch for the next two weeks.  I've flipped it round for my creation.

The design papers are from Lemoncraft and 13Arts.  i've also used a little black card for framing, a couple of black gems and some ribbon from my stash.

Twiggy

It's SheepSki Designs blog challenge day, this month we're all about autumn, things that make you think of autumn including Halloween :)

For my inspiration today I'm using Twiggy, he was created especially for Autumn :D

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I experimented a bit on the sky by colouring it all in various shades of blue and then using a sponge and some Copic cleaner to make very feint clouds.

I scattered some embossing enamel onto the card for some leaf movement.  The sentiment is a Lily of the Valley one coloured with Copics.  After distressing the edge of the card with a Tonic Solutions tool I then doodled a border onto the card.

Catching Leaves

We have a new image at SheepSki Designs called Catching Leaves, I've decided to use it for my inspiration for the new Facebook Challenge.  We haven't quite reached the autumn thing here yet where I live but i suspect we will soon.  the weather has changed and its colder now.

The images had been coloured with Copics. The edge of the card has been distressed wit Tim Holtz Vintage Phot ink.  I've also scattered two colours of embossing enamel to add a little interest.

Xmas Party

1st of the month and the new challenge has started at SheepSki Designs on the challenge blog.

The theme is Christmas in July.

To make it look more seasonal I've sprinkled some embossing enamel, making sure the gnome with the tongue has caught a snowflake ;)

I've been toying with this one for a while.  I had the idea, oooo maybe about 9 months ago.  I finally faffed with it enough to decide on two gnomes clinking their ale glasses.  Mainly because that what a lot of us are missing at the moment, seeing friends.

I sketched in a find of bar environment for the gnomes.  /usually I do them in more "natural" wild settings :)

The Gangs All Here

Happy Mono Christmas,  I've decided to colour these guys in blues, I love how they've come out!!

I coloured them using my Copics, framing them with some white card an using some design paper from Lili of the Valley.

Happy Christ-mask!!!

 

Thinking a little outside the box for this Christmas card.  The imaged is called Masked, you can find it here in the shop, where you can get 10% off all imaged by quoting SKIANDREA 10 at check out.  However, if you're lucky enough to be a member of the DigiMojo Facebook Group and Crafting of Hue Facebook Group there 30% discount vouchers lurking in there.  It expires on 14 December so you'll need to be fairly quick.

I've coloured the image with Copics using traditional Christmas card colours.  I wanted a fairly simple non fussy card so I can post it, so there's quite a bit of white space on this one.

The Happy Christ-Mask!! sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.  The design paper (some I got from The Ribbon Girl when I was lucky enough to be part of their DT) has been cut with a die I got from Dies to Die For.

Can't wait to get back to some normality, hope you're all doing well <3

Mummified.....

So playing around with gnome images for Halloween.  I couldn't work out how to skeletonise one of them but thought about how I could mummify one :)

I printed the sentiment at the same time as the image, then went to work with my Copics.  I thought about using purple as well but decided to keep it to earthy colours.

Just a simple card today using a die cut to get the angled design papers from Lili of the Valley and Joy Crafts.  I thought about adding some dots but then changed my mind and doodled some bats and a spider instead :)
