Little Lamb

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  For my inspiration today I'm using the very cute image called Little Lamb, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

I've created a single layered card colouring the image with Copics.

I've also used some acrylic paints for the flower field and a little in the sky.  The birds and sentiment were hand drawn / written.

Happy Everything

Today I have the honour of sharing some GDT at Through the Purple Haze, who we are sponsoring this time.

I'm using Annabell and Aggie for my inspiration, you can find it here at SheepSki Designs.

The image had been coloured with Copics.

I've created a simple design, piking design paper from First Edition to match the colour scheme.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, that and the design paper behind have been cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Hello Spring

We'll we've just welcome spring in the last week so I thought I'd make a happy hello spring card.

I've coloured the image with Copic, then draw a circle round my soup flask and cut it out :)

The design papers are scraps left over from when I'd made cards before, they're First Edition papers.

I've added a Hello wood chip sentiment coloured with Copics to match the theme and a couple of silver dragonfly charms.

Counting Sheep

Today is the second lot of inspiration over at All Dressed Up using Wendy's new images.

This one is Counting Sheep you can find it here in her Etsy shop.

This image has been coloured with Copics, cut our with a Spellbinders die and has some embossing enamel sprinkle on.  It's been framed by some Kraft card cut with another Spellbinders die.

Papers used on this creation are from Maja Design and Kraft card - all have been distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.

I've cut two tiny banners out of off cut papers to match the theme colours using a Fantasy Die.  Cream silk ribbon from The Ribbon Girl with a hand tied bow, a heart wood chip embellishment from Scrapiniec, three white apple blossom flowers and some pink pearls were added to complete the card.

Hmmmm blogger seems to be acting up today, don't know if anyone else is having problems.  It won't let me upload images from my Google album archive, so I've had to find a way round it to share this with you tonight.

This is my latest new release image.  I shared a sneak peek of it a few days ago.  I've not had time to colour it up :)

I've coloured it with Copics, then used a little black polychromos pencil to add some extra depth to the image.

Creating a single layer card to showcase the image I've scattered some embossing enamel around the image.  I've added a simple wood chip sentiment from Scrapiniec to complete the card.

Annabell & Aggie

I'm honoured today to be a guest designer at The Crazy Challenge.  Their theme for the next two weeks is Spring is Coming.

I've chosen to use one of my new images Annabell and Aggie for my inspiration today.  I created this image with spring in mind, little lambs and flowers.

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

Keeping the image as the focus I've created a CAS card, only using one piece of flowers design paper to border the image.

Just around the edge of the image I've doodled a border in pen as well.  I've also added a love sentiment from Scrapienic which has been coloured with black ProMarker.

Golden Bleet

I thought I'd make a Christmas card in non traditional colours for a change.  Using A Star is Born from All Dressed Up, I've used a golden theme.

The image coloured with ProMarkers has been cut out and distressed.  The design papers from Maya Design and First Edition have also been distressed before layering up.

The golden half circle with stars is a Marianne Design die using some gold card.

The star embellishments are Tim Hotlz grunge board.  I'e used a gold ProMarker to colour them with and there are some golden gems.

1st of the month and you know what that means people - we have a new challenge U is for Unlimited at the ABC Challenge sponsored by Magnolia-licious.  This mean it's an anything goes challenge :D

For my inspiration for you today I've done something a little different.  Usually when we think of magnolia Tilda comes to mind.  I've used three different Magnolia stamps to create this.

The stamps are Tilda's Sheep, Three Flowers and Tilda's Butterflies.  The image has been created using Copics.

I've got a close up of the sheep here.  the background of this is Copic with a sage polychromos pencil for the clumps of tufty grass.

As I was creating a scene I've also drawn in some fluffy clouds.

The whole scene has been mounted onto some black card stock before taping it to the white card.

The thank ewe sentiment was computer generated, cut out with a Spellbinders die, edged with purple and some black self adhesive gems added.

Christmas "Ewe's"

At some stage I had to do something with sheep - the name of my blog is SheepSki Designs ;)

So here they are Christmas Sheep from Bugaboo.  They've been coloured with ProMarkers and as the main influence behind my blog is a black sheep I just had to do one black!

I wanted to keep the card CAS to showcase the image.  It also means its easier for posting at Christmas.  The sentiment came with the image too so I decided to use both together.

Bit of black card stock and some black and yellow self adhesive gems were the only thing I used to finish the card off

Mary had a little lamb......

...it's fleece was white as snow :)

I love sheep and collect them so when I got enough loyalty points at the LOTV shop this was the rubber stamp I picked as my freeby!

The stamp is Little Lamb which I've coloured in pastel shades using ProMarkers.  I used a die to cut out the purple frame which I mounted over the image.

Papers are all from Lili of the Valley as is the sentiment which is from one of their art pads.  The ribbon was also bought form one of their little bags of ribbon which unfortunately they've now stopped supplying online.

I've only used some self adhesive gems to embellish this card as I wanted the image to be the main focus
