Today is My Birthday!

Today is/was my birthday!  Just a year ago I celebrated it with friends watching the Olympic Torch as it was passed to another runner on a river boat on the Fraser river...hard to believe the time has passed.

Today I watched the lovely day through the window at work and then had a lovely dinner with my mom.  I received many e-mails and calls from family and friends.

Two friends sent me the same e-mail card that read...To the world you might just be one person, But to one person you just might be the world!   May you all find that one person who finds you to be the world!

Today is my birthday! 2009 is my birth date year! Last year I turned the age of the year I was born, how interesting these two years fell together. I took the picture of the yellow witch hazel yesterday, it is one of my favourite shots of this plant.

February has more flowering trees bursting forth with colour and sunny blue skies.

This planting of snowdrops were just peeking out last week and now they are starting to bloom! So much for February blahs..I think the month is a great one.

Today is that special birthday that you are the age the year you are born! Yesterday I celebrated by driving down to Smokey Point in Washington state with two other Aquarian friends and a friend who was born on April Fool's Day.

We had a wonderful day shopping and having lunch despite the rainy weather. I hope all who share this day with me had a happy day with family and friends!
