Bog oak

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bog oak is a form of oak wood that has been buried in a peat bog for a number of years, ranging from the hundreds to the thousands. Much like brown oak, bog oak is not a specific species, but is most commonly found in the United Kingdom, in the form of salvaged English oak wood.[1]
