Johann Theo This LP demonstrates mastery of multiple deep electronic genres and in my mind puts Sieren on the same level as more famous artists like Bonobo. It's a joy through and through. I can't wait to listen to this when travelling or hiking. Favorite track: Mountain Flare.

Dr. Beaf The culmination of different types of house, ambient and experimental has resulted in this impressive minimalist body of work. It floats between chill house and ambient seamlessly without losing interest. It's a terrific album on the recommended list. Favorite track: Hold On.

Amatia Lomax Right now I'm really enjoying hearing a few of those tracks I've been waiting for a release on for ages—Mountain Flare, Chroma—but this is a solid LP throughout. Wavescraper's a bit of a heavier direction, but a perfect homage to the UK scene. All in all an amazing album—shuffling beats, intricate percussion, ethereal vocals, lush soundscapes. Favorite track: Mountain Flare.

Marking his debut on Ki, Sieren unveils his first 10-Track LP "Transients of Light". Born and raised in Bielefeld, Matthias Frick, who assumed his mother's maiden name "Sieren" as his musical alias, eventually relocated to Berlin whilst pursuing a masters in digital signals processing and working as a software engineer for Ableton. Since, this transition would continue to inform his music production. His soft spot for UK bass music is recognizable in a haze of reverberant vocal snippets, spherical field recordings and experimental soundscapes. Having crossed paths with Ki co-founder Christian Löffler while playing at a festival some years ago, Löffler was convinced that Sieren's music would sound as good on the radio or home stereo as it does on the dancefloor. This fateful union paved the way for their first collaboration which saw Sieren remix Christian Löffler's "Notes" in 2014.
