Tomb of the Mutilated is one of the most iconic death metal albums ever, thanks to 'Hammer Smashed Face.' Seeing it in Ace Ventura blew me away. I only had the Vile CD back then, but Tomb, with Chris Barnes's classic vocals, delivered a fresh, crushing sound. 'Post Mortal Ejaculation' was — and still is — my favorite of the album: the slowed shift at 2:06, the piercing scream as the drums kick in, then the ferocious blast beats at 2:51. So many twists, and so brutal, especially for its time.
