Never get bored with the basics! Draw some lines today 〰️✍🏻 I’ve done this practice so many times and I still enjoy it! I actually posted it for the first time about two years ago. It was my third post ever. So it was (and still is) one of my favorite drawing exercises. If you’ve never practiced drawing lines, give it a try! I highly recommend using a pen or a fineliner or at least skip the eraser to learn from your mistakes. 😊👍 #drawingpractice #howtodraw #landscapearchitecturestudent
Art has the power to snap us out of our transfixion, open our minds to what’s possible, and reconnect with the eternal energy that moves through all things. 💗 Big shoutout to @thenationalforestofficial for his beautiful music I used in this video! The song is titled, “Shelter Me.” Music is a big part of my painting process, it helps me stay in my flow 👩🎨✨ This painting is titled “Still Waters Run Deep” and I now have prints available on my website at www.michellegreenart.com or link in bio...

”It’s always the small pieces that make a big picture.” 💚 Here is an older painting of little abbostwood flower and its tiny leaves. The sunlight followed me almost the whole time. I usually paint this kind of detailed work on hot pressed paper but here I used cold pressed paper instead and it gives nice natural texture to the leaves. #botanicalartist #botanicalillustration #watercolorillustration #watercolorflowers
