Recorded live in August 2024 by Sō Percussion and participants from the Sō Percussion Summer Institute at Princeton University, this version of Jason Treuting's 𝘈𝘮𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘦 harks back to the original 2006 recording, while also brimming with a sense of unpredictable energy at the hands of the 26 participating fellows of Sō's long-running summer workshop.

Supplemented by Treuting's "Extremes," composed in 2009 and recorded specially for Sō's 25x25 anniversary box set, and "Thank You 4 Listening," another Treuting piece written as a concert closer, 𝘈𝘮𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘦 is yet another indispensable piece of a creative legacy that is still going strong after 25 years of boundary-stretching music.
