sashavonkarl74 Død, guitarist of Blood Red Throne, and Vald, ex-vocalist of Blood Red Throne (a DM band of Norway, in case you did not know) are also playing here in this black/thrash metal new project. They originated in 2000 more or less with Cobolt 60, but here the vocals are harsher, as it should be for 90's era Norwegian BM. There is also a bit more melody here but also thrash riffage though. Quite catchy overall, and really looking forward to more! Guitar work in Track 5 is stellar!!! Favorite track: De Som Fortaeres Av Lengsel.

H.L. Anyone who grew up with black metal in the 90s will appreciate VALDAUDR. The raw, melodic mood here is very similar; I'm thinking of early Taake or Satyricon as a comparison. The atmosphere is created by using simple means, i.e. gripping guitars, varied, lively songwriting, rough, gurgling vocals and the occasional clear, pathos-filled voice. The standard is high from start to finish, and the opener "Den Moerke Tronen" is a good starting point. Favorite track: Den Moerke Tronen.
