Retro Computer Image Library decodes Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Apple II, Atari 8-bit, Atari Portfolio, Atari ST/TT/Falcon, BBC Micro, Commodore 64, Commodore 16/116/Plus4, Commodore 128, Electronika BK, FM Towns, HP 48, Macintosh 128K, MSX, NEC PC-80/88/98, Oric, SAM Coupe, Sharp X68000, Tandy 1000, Timex 2048, TRS-80, TRS-80 Color Computer, ZX81 and ZX Spectrum picture formats. The project contains a simple viewer, plug-ins for general-purpose image viewers and editors, and an everything-to-png converter.

Conceived as an internet radio Shoutcast/Icecast client and DJ console IDJC has two main media players, a background track player, effects buttons, crossfader, webm, aac, ogg, and mp3 streaming, stream automation timers, aux input, voice and VoIP integration. Media file formats include: mp3, ogg, flac, wma, wav, m4a, m3u, xspf, pls, and cue sheet support, IRC track and station announcements, uses jack audio connection kit to provide a flexible audio chain. cdw is a ncurses based front end for command-line tools used to burn data CD/DVD discs, create and burn ISO9660 images, create UDF images, and for related tasks. The tools are: cdrecord/wodim, mkisofs/genisoimage, growisofs, dvd+rw-mediainfo, dvd+rw-format, xorriso, mkudffs. This project has been closed in 2023. Don't expect any updates or bugfixes. Cross-platform command-line tool for creation of PDF documents from scans/photos of pages in JPEG (.jpg) format and the lightest weight ANSI C library to put multiple JPEG files into one PDF file. WineASIO provides an ASIO to JACK driver for WINE. ASIO is the most common Windows low-latency driver, so is commonly used in audio workstation programs. For best results with Ubuntu, install the kxstudio repos - http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/ - and install wineasio from there.

OGMRip is a library providing a common API for ripping and encoding DVD into AVI/OGM/MP4/Matroska files using a wide variety of codecs. It uses mplayer, mencoder, ogmtools, oggenc and lame to perform all its operations.

XdTV allows you to watch, record & stream TV. It interacts with AleVT & Nxtvepg & supports the bttv, bktr & dvb APIs. It contains some deinterlacing filters and record video with various containers (AVI, MPEG, OGG..) and many codecs (FFMpeg, XviD, Ogg..)

movie thumbnailer (mtn) -- saves thumbnails (screenshots) of movie or video files to jpeg files. it uses libavcodec as its engine, so all popular codecs, eg. divx h264 mpeg1 mpeg2 mp4 vc1 wmv xvid, and formats, eg. .3gp .avi .dat .mkv .wmv are supported.

Arduino library for parsing and decoding MOD, WAV, MP3, FLAC, MIDI, AAC, and RTTL files and playing them on an I2S DAC or even using a software-simulated delta-sigma DAC with dynamic 32x-128x oversampling. ESP8266 is fully supported and most mature, but ESP32 is also mostly there with built-in DAC as well as external ones. For real-time, autonomous speech synthesis, check out ESP8266SAM, a library that uses this one and a port of an ancient format-based synthesis program to allow your ESP8266 to talk with low memory and no network required. All this code is released under the GPL, and all of it is to be used at your own risk. If you find any bugs, please let me know via the GitHub issue tracker or drop me an email. The MOD and MP3 routines were taken from StellaPlayer and libMAD respectively. The software I2S delta-sigma 32x oversampling DAC was my own creation and sounds quite good if I do say so myself.

Highly optimized 2D|3D math library, also known as OpenGL Mathematics (glm) for `C`. cglm provides lot of utils to help math operations to be fast and quick to write. It is community-friendly, feel free to bring any issues, bugs you faced. Almost all functions (inline versions) and parameters are documented inside the corresponding headers. OpenGL-related functions are dropped to make this lib platform/third-party independent. Make sure you have the latest version and feel free to report bugs, troubles. Euler angles was implemented in reverse order (extrinsic) it was fixed, now they are intrinsic. Make sure that you have the latest version. vec4 and mat4 variables must be aligned. (There will be unaligned versions later). cglm doesn't alloc any memory on heap. So it doesn't provide any allocator. You should alloc memory for out parameters too if you pass pointer of memory location.

miniaudio is written in C with no dependencies except the standard library and should compile cleanly on all major compilers without the need to install any additional development packages. All major desktop and mobile platforms are supported. miniaudio gives you complete flexibility. With the low-level API, just initialize a connection to the device and send or receive raw audio data. The modular design of miniaudio allows you to use the low-level API without compromising your ability to make use of other features like the node graph and resource manager. miniaudio's node graph system gives you an easy way to set up advanced mixing and effect graphs. Each node sends it's output to another node, and so on and so forth to produce all kinds of effects. You can even implement your own custom nodes and plug them in however you like. Plug multiple nodes into the same input node for mixing and use the splitter node for complex routing.

FractalNow provides users with tools to generate pictures of various types of fractals quickly and easily. It is made of both a command line tool, FractalNow, and a graphical tool, QFractalNow. The graphical tool, based on Qt library, allows users to explore fractals intuitively and generate pictures. Both tools are entirely multi-threaded and implement advanced algorithms and heuristics that make computation very fast compared to most existing free fractal generators.
