Fortress OS is an open source modern multitasking operating system. Intel IA-32 386 compatibility. Fortress is clean implemented from scratch. Fortress is still in early stage ( current state at the end of plan 2 ) and needs huge work.

FoxyLinux is a Linux based operating system that is extremely user-friendly. With its simple to use interface, right from the start, FoxyLinux requires no technical knowledge to configure complex operating system settings.

FrakeOS is a new OS developed by Charles Frake. Currently, it is a simple bootloader written in NASM. I plan to continue researching Assembly and finish the bootloader. I plan to start coding a kernel in C after the bootloader is finished.

Frame Diverter is mainly used for setting up a bridge with Squid running on it and transparently caching Web traffic between the LAN and the router. It's beeing extended to allow forwarding frames to other machines. It also allows layer 3+ switching

The FreeBIOS project aims to provide a replacement for any computer's firmware, and support advanced or custom features and configurations. Initial code supports Intel-based only, but other processors and chipsets will be supported.

Ftape - the Linux kernel floppy tape driver

FunkOS is an RTOS for 8-32 bit MCUs including AVR, MSP430, and Cortex M3. Both C and C++ kernels avaiable. Key features include preemption, periodic events, device drivers, and mutex/semaphores. Includes a variety of graphics and filesystem middleware. Please also check out FunkOS's big brother, Mark3OS. Mark3OS is slightly larger, but is more scalable, much more feature-rich, and supports a wider variety of devices.

Queue is a load-balancing system popular in the 2000s that lets users control their remote jobs in an intuitive, transparent and nearly seamless way. Development versions feature job migration with and without kernel support. GNU Queue continues to be downloaded despite being decommissioned by the FSF in favor of the newer GNU Parallel project. Older versions of the code are archived here on Sourceforge and some later versions on GNU Savannah.
