Open Source Linux Alarm Clocks

Llama Alarm Clock is a simple, easy to use, alarm clock. You can display a 12 or 24 hour clock and set alarms in either form (they work regardless of your display mode) and plays any .wav media file you choose to wake you up ***NOW SUPPORTS .MP3 FILES*** (Thank you Jake Rooney). It comes with 2 alarms (If you have version 1.3 make sure to use the new default ones). Uses JLayer to play mp3 files. Make sure you're downloading the latest version (1.6 currently), recently 1.5 just got a whole bunch of new downloads and it has a bug for the AM alarms that was fixed in 1.6.

A user friendly alarm clock written in the Qt framework. The user can deside which time the alarm is set to go off. In addition the user can set a purpose of the alarm, a note, and add audio files for the alarm. This way you can decide if you like to wake up with a beating heart to the sound of hard rock. Maybe by the time you go to bed you have a brilliant idea, or there is something you have to remember by the time you wake up. This feature let you get reminded of this. When the alarm goes off, you will in addition to the alarm get a pop-up message. The message contains your predefined notes. This however is completely optional. Enjoy!

The sh-alarm is an alarm clock written in shell script for bash environment. It will beep repeatedly at any given time.

This is a project of application which uses windows vista scheduler to fire up an alarm clock on your computer/laptop. Even when it's in sleep. It uses itunes to play podcasts in the morning, it have option of automaticly turn up the volume.
