Spotlight Remover is an AppleScript application that runs through the application Terminal (most likely already on the computer) to move your annoying Spotlight feature to a backup folder in ~/Documents.

This proyect contains two parts: 1.- An XCode proyect to create libAS.dylib who implements a single function to run applescript code . 2.- squeak code to call the library via FFI, utility functions and examples of use . This is a evolution of the original package Applescript code by Andrew C. Greenberg (1957 – August 28, 2024)

You might know tags as they are used in gmail, delicious.com or last.fm. They let you categorize your items in multiple ways. The files on your computer can be categorized in only one way, because you store them in a folder and that's it. It would be great if there was an easy way to store the same file in multiple folders at the same time, wouldn't it? Well, Tags allows you to do exactly that on the mac. Create new Tags by duplicating and renaming the Mother Tag. Drag your file or folder on top of a Tag icon to add it to that Tag. Double-click a Tag to view all items that you added to it. Remove items from a Tag by dragging them to the Trash. Or remove the Tag itself by dragging it to the Trash. Tags are just like folders in many ways; you can even tag Tags! The software works on Mac OS X 10.4 and all higher versions. Have a look at the screenshots to inspire you, and make sure to read the Readme that is included with the download, because it's really helpful.

How many unused files there are in the Download and the Trash folders of your Mac? Terminator is a small utility that helps you to keep clean your Mac removing all that files at the shutdown. Obviously you can always choose the traditional shutdown when you need to keep the files ;-)

TiVoDecode Manager (TDM) is an Applescript Studio interface (i.e. "wrapper") for the tivodecode program that automates the process of downloading of standalone TiVo Series 2 files to your computer and decoding into MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 files.

A Mac OS X toolbar app to create a file in the current directory, similar to creating a new file in the context menu in Windows Explorer. To install drag the .app file to Finder toolbar. Then click on the application icon to create a new file in the current Finder folder.
