Distributed Fair Dice Roller is a Java component that provides online games with a set of fair dice. Clients each contribute to the dice results, and can verify that all rolls were random, fair, and no other player could cheat.

'Duell' is a challenging variant of chess, even more abstract than the original. Imagine a chess board, but replace the figures by dice. Instead of moving the dice, they are flipped around the board according to their value, obeying the rules of chess. And, you got it, they change their power as they change the number of pips! This 'Duell' software project allows two players to challenge each other, or a single player to get challenged by the computer. Try it, but don't get yourself frustrated too fast! This software has been created and developed by Roland Studer 1985-2010. That year Roland left us way too young and I decided to keep Roland's work and spirit alive, in accordance with the will of his widow. This SourceForge project shall be alive in memory of Roland. Kenny is a Winboard/XBoard chess engine based on Winglet (http://www.sluijten.com/winglet/source/index.htm), an open source chess program. Winglet's full source code can be obtained from Winglet. Kenny is an advanced form of Winglet which plays better at some faster time levels like blitz chess or upto 20 minute games, but almost always loses against Winglet when the time controls are 40 minutes or more for each. These tests were run by setting up various tournamennts on the free Chess GUI Arena Version 3.0. Kenny uses modified values for evaluation of various parameters, thus introducing almost an entirely new engine, because the evaluation function is the heart of a chess engine.
