A Chess game made by two students for a progamming project. The game has support to save and load files and timers for each player. The source code is in portuguese but there are plans to translate it. This is the base for the bigger project: Hydrus.

A chess application written in Java.

Calculate the number of solutions to place n queens on an n*n chess board, without any queen attacking each other. Options allow using rooks instead of queens, disabling knight attacks and setting the minimum distance between queens.

Play Chess against the computer.

The following chess application has been in construction since late Fall of the year 2011. The program is in the pre-alpha stage; it is in no way a finished product. The application is written using Processing API, which I found to be quite fun to write in. The version control was done with github. An easy to understand chess engine.

This is a game of chess, which extend the tradition Chinese chess from two player to four player.

A Perl script which accepts a chess position (in the FEN format) as input and outputs POV-Ray source, which, when rendered by POV-Ray, produces a 3-D view of the chess position.

Java chess programm. Main goal is to develop an object orientated program with simple and well documented interfaces. A major point is how to handle endgame situations.

A chess application in order to play against computer or to play with another human. No network playing is planned (no FICS). This program uses the Carballo Chess Engine in order to check moves, and the Stockfish engine (that you must download on their website) in order to generate the computer moves.

This project just aims to be a simple chess board. You can do whatever you want with pieces (even make a piece eat a king if you want !!!) : the purpose is just to provide a "magnetic" chess board on computer. But all moves are verified. Also with some facilities : history manager, so that you can go back and rewrite the game history !!!
