FOML is an expressive logic rule language that supports object modeling, analysis, and inference. It naturally supports model-level activities, such as constraints (extending UML diagrams), dynamic compositional modeling, analysis and reasoning about models, model testing, design pattern modeling, specification of Domain Specific Modeling Languages, and meta-modeling. FOML can reason about: 1. The model meta-data (meta-model level reasoning, or syntax reasoning) 2. The Sequencer implements a language for programming state machines with the EPICS framework. EPICS is developed collaboratively and used worldwide to create distributed soft real-time control systems for large scale scientific instruments. SNL borrows most contructs from the C programing language and adds some new statements for defining states and conditions for transitions between states.

OOC is an Oberon-2 development platform. It consists of an optimizing compiler, a number of related tools, a set of standard library modules, and a reference manual.

Ox is an attribute grammar compiling system that augments Lex and Yacc specifications with definitions of synthesized and inherited attributes written in a combination of Ox and C/C++ syntax. From these augmented specifications, Ox generates ordinary Lex and Yacc specifications that build and decorate attributed parse trees. The user can specify parse-tree traversals for easy ordering of side effects such as code generation. Ox handles the tedious and error-prone details of writing code for parse-tree management, so its use eases problems of security and maintainability associated with that aspect of translator development.

PHDL is an HDL that functions as an alternative to mainstream graphical schematic capture tools. The language is compiled into a pcb netlist which can then be imported into a layout tool. We are currently on version 2.1 of the tool. We have created an eclipse plugin version of the tool as well as a standalone command-line based version. Both function identically and output a netlist that can be imported into a pcb layout tool. VHDL revolutionized how FPGA designs and digital logic circuits have been designed and captured and overcame many of the difficulties associated with the use of schematic editing tools. We believe the use of an HDL is also the way of the future when it comes to PCB design. The PHDL compiler automatically supports the output of PADS and Eagle netlists, and through extending a simple java class, users can generate a netlist in practically any format required by their choice of a layout tool.

XPL compiler as described in the book "A Compiler Generator" by McKeeman, Horning and Wortman. This compiler translates the XPL language to C source code allowing anyone with a working C compiler to run an XPL compiler.
