    Aleph-w is a library of data structures and algorithms implemented in and for C++. It contains the main data structures: single and double lists, special arrays (dynamic and of bits), many types of trees: multitrees, binary search trees, avl, red-black, randomized, treaps, splay and other interesting types. Several types of hash tables are implemented: separated chaining, open adressing with linear probing and double function hash; this last one has a garbage colector mechanism that allows to free deleted entries. Dynamic linear hash tables are implemented too. The main algorithms on graphs are implemented in an easy way and with good performance features. Network Flow (maximum and min cost), cut points, topological sort, spanning trees, min paths. etc. The graphs are generic in the sense that they can contain data independent of the algorithm. Several containers of the C++ STL library are implemented with Aleph-w. Their performance is better than GNU implementation

    "Drone WayPointer" is a ROS package that provides a UI to allow for remote control of the Parrot AR Drone 2.0. It is developed in C++ with qt-ros and the Qt4 Development FrameWork. It is designed to work with the ROS - Fuerte and it uses the the ardrone_autonomy driver (Fuerte-devel Branch). It has so far only been tested on the tum_simulator and not on the actual drone. The main functionalities it provides is camera streams of front or bottom cameras of the drone, button and slider control of the drone XYZ velocities, control using waypoints and waypoint commands, pose estimation using simple dead-reckoning and measurement and image recording functionalities.

    ObjectVolume

    Calculates Volume, Surface Area & Centroid of a Closed Triangular Mesh

    The ObjectVolume program calculates the volume, surface area and centroid of a closed triangular mesh represented in an object file (.obj). The process goes through the list of triangles that make up the surface and, for each triangle, forms a tetrahedron with an external point. The program uses the origin (0,0,0). The volume of the tetrahedron is then calculated. Tetrahedrons with back facing triangles are added and those with forward facing triangles are subtracted yielding the object volume. A detailed description of the process is presented in the ObjectVolumeTutorial.doc document as well as program logic and results. A key component in the program is a subroutine that calculates the volume of a tetrahedron. Four sets of equations were tested and to my surprise all four produced similar results in accuracy and timing.
