EXITO, the EXercise event Injection TOolkit, has been developed in order to help the moderators of large scale, multi-party exercises. It has been designed as a communication and coordination tool to keep in track the execution of complex exercises with large number of injects and players. It enables the exchange of events and reports among users by managing a Master Event List (MSEL); massively injecting events; and collecting feedback from the exercise players. EXITO is web based and can be integrated with a Content Management System (CMS) like Drupal. EXITO can be used: -by exercise moderators to run an exercise scenario in a timely and ordered fashion, injecting events to the users through the web interface; -by exercise players to view injected events and provide feedback in a centralized repository; -by exercise observers to view the way an exercise progresses. EXITO is developed by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC).

When you synchronize 2 file repositories with rsync, then you want to use fsize to show you if both sides show up with the same amount of files and with the same file sizes. Using du always counts files and directories (option -sb), which can result in different sizes. A directory node may use 12 KB on the rsync source and 16 KB on the rsync destination.

render_async is here to make your pages show faster to users. Pages become faster seamlessly by rendering partials to your views. Partials render asynchronously and let users see your page faster than using regular rendering. It works with Rails and its tools out of the box. A quick overview of how render_async does its magic. User visits a page, render_async makes an AJAX request on the controller action, controller renders a partial, partial renders in the place where you put render_async view helper. JavaScript is injected straight into <%= content_for :render_async %> so you choose where to put it. Advanced usage includes information on different options. render_async renders an element that gets replaced with the content of your request response. In order to have more control over the element that renders first (before the request), you can set the ID of that element.

srtools is a set of simple remote tools. the main two to mention: simple rdist distributes files or commands across hosts. srdist(1) understands rcs(1) files and host based files. there are several other tools see README. rcs tools has a few things , like "late-checkins" to check for files that one forgot to check in an dorev to force check in / do easy check in (avoiding complicated options). host based files is a way to allow hosts to distribute all files without clobbering host specific files. and with that ... srtools(1) makes partially synchronizng hosts easy.
