Patch-clamp data reader
Library for reading files created by HEKA Pulse and Patch-master.
Package and libraries (dll in windows) which read files, created by Pulse (ReadPulse.dll) and Patch Master (ReadPMaster.dll) software from HEKA company. Can read a Trace from a whole group, series or or a sweep. Service information about pulse protocols, voltage, amplifier state and so on also is retrieved. Detailed description of functions can be found in the source code. Files readpmaster.lpr and readpulse.lpr contain full lists of exported functions with the descriptions. Project Nest-o-Patch can be used as a demo program for both both libraries, file openheka.pp löads the libraries. Both libraries are highly compatible at the level of API. -

QToaster
A simple and fast frontend for the QEMU Emulator - Freeware.
QToaster is a simple app that executes QEMU with proper command line parameters (a frontend). The features are pretty basic, the executable is small and is a portable application. I needed something to automate QEMU quickly operate fast without having to worry about setting things up. I just wanted to get moving fast. It is designed just for that. It will keep your last machine settings and reload them from the .ini files that it creates. The main purpose I needed this for is Android - using Limbo. If something works on QEMU then it has a good chance of working on Android. You don't need to put QEMU in your environment path, just point to its base folder. It doesn't need any special runtimes (java, .net, Python, etc.), it only needs the utility file Lutil.dll. Nik plugins on Ubuntu standalone or with Picasa3
Main idea here is that you can use Nik Plugins stand-alone without officially supported 3rd party host application (Lightroom, Photoshop, Spark, Portfolio). On Windows or Linux. Source code can be compiled natively for Linux or for Windows with Lazarus IDE. The program is dedicated to Ubuntu users, where you can install Nik Collection using wine. On Ubuntu you can either use native Linux version, or native Windows version running via wine. In fact, currently the latter is recommended, because there are some UI glitches related to gtk widgetset if you compile for Linux - the UI looks better in native Windows version (this can be fixed in the future). Even if you use native Windows version on Linux via wine, the app will be aware of wine and will still be integrated with your Ubuntu desktop and will be integrated with supported apps on it, like Gimp, Pinta, Darktable, Nautilus, etc. It will still talk to your shell, and provide all the integration with your Linux. -
