    Glitch Client

Source for the Flash-based Glitch client

Glitch-client is the source code for the original Flash-based client for Glitch, the MMO game developed by Tiny Speck. It includes the user interface, display logic, game logic client-side (in AS3), asset handling and communication with servers. The client handles rendering the game world, inventory, avatars, locations, games etc., via the Flash client. The client code was later released as part of the asset archive after the game shut down. Networking / protocol logic to sync with game servers, update game state etc. (though server code is separate). Asset loading and display: integrating graphics/animations, locations, items etc. in the client view.

    Glitch Items

    Glitch Items

Items, Inhabitants, and other Glitch game assets

Glitch-items is part of the Glitch game’s asset / source code archive by Tiny Speck; it contains definitions, data, and ActionScript source code for “items, Inhabitants, and other assorted things” from Glitch. It's not a standalone software product in the sense of a runnable engine, but rather a repository of game content and data used by the Glitch client. All files are provided AS-IS. Tiny Speck cannot provide any support to help you bring these assets into your own projects. Many of these files are not structured in a standard, straightforward way, and they may take a bit of your time and work to understand. The Glitch logo and trademark are not among the things we are making available under this license. Only items in the files explicitly included herein are covered.

    Hungry Hero

    Hungry Hero

Hungry Hero is an open source Flash game built on Starling Framework.

Hungry Hero is an open source Flash game developed with the Starling Framework, designed as an educational example for developers interested in Stage3D and GPU-accelerated game development. The game demonstrates how to leverage Starling’s features to create smooth, hardware-accelerated 2D experiences while maintaining cross-device compatibility through Adobe AIR and Flash. It showcases core concepts such as handling textures, sprite sheets, parallax backgrounds, and collision detection, providing a clear reference for building interactive games. The project also integrates advanced techniques like object pooling for performance, bitmap fonts for efficient text rendering, and Starling’s particle system extension for visual effects. Though originally built with the iPad 1 and 2 in mind, it can be adapted to multiple devices by adjusting configuration files, emphasizing the principle of “one code, multi-screen.”

    Kids Games: We Sow Light

    Kids Games: We Sow Light

    Kids Games in Flash

Using something I've made? http://www.arrall.com Please, consider contributing in some way to any app I'm working on. Free kids games in a coding language you can freely acquire and create with. The version at http://www.wesowlight.com/ partially works. Tested to run on android 4.0.3 and 4.1 (after googling and installing flash player) You have to twist, poke, and guess your way into full screen mode, but it does seem to work. If it appears to consume your entire screen, touch the bottom black bar to un-hide the nav buttons. Currently working on the first game theme: Splat. Splat: Tap the main splat button or a sub-game. Match colors, shapes, both, or just go free for all.
