    Planetiler

    Planetiler

Flexible tool to build planet-scale vector tilesets

Planetiler (pla·nuh·tai·lr, formerly named "Flatmap") is a tool that generates Vector Tiles from geographic data sources like OpenStreetMap. Planetiler aims to be fast and memory-efficient so that you can build a map of the world in a few hours on a single machine without any external tools or database. Vector tiles contain raw point, line, and polygon geometries that clients like MapLibre can use to render custom maps in the browser, native apps, or on a server. Planetiler packages tiles into an MBTiles (SQLite) or PMTiles file that can be served using tools like TileServer GL or Martin or even queried directly from the browser. See awesome-vector-tiles for more projects that work with data in this format. Planetiler works by mapping input elements to vector tile features, flattening them into a big list, and then sorting by tile ID to group them into tiles.

    React Native Vector Icons

    React Native Vector Icons

Customizable Icons for React Native with full styling

Perfect for buttons, logos and nav/tab bars. Easy to extend, style and integrate into your project. If you want to use any of the bundled icons, you need to add the icon fonts to your Xcode project. For each platform (iOS/Android/Windows) you plan to use, follow one of the options for the corresponding platform. Upgrading this package often requires the font files linked to your projects to be updated as well. If the automatic linking works for you, running this again should update the fonts. You can either use one of the bundled icons supported or roll your own custom font. Since Icon builds on top of the Text component, most style properties will work as expected, you might find it useful to play around with background color, border width, border color, border radius, padding, margin, color, font size, etc.

    SVGO

    SVGO

Node.js tool for optimizing SVG files

SVG Optimizer is a Node.js-based tool for optimizing SVG vector graphics files. SVG files, in particular those exported from multiple editors, normally contain tons of redundant and useless information. This can include editor metadata, comments, hidden elements, default or non-optimal values and other stuff that can be safely removed or converted without affecting the SVG rendering result. Some options can be configured with CLI though it may be easier to have the configuration in a separate file. SVGO has a plugin-based architecture, so almost every optimization is a separate plugin.

    SkiaSharp

    SkiaSharp

SkiaSharp is a cross-platform 2D graphics API for .NET platforms

SkiaSharp is a cross-platform 2D graphics API for .NET platforms based on Google's Skia Graphics Library. It provides a comprehensive 2D API that can be used across mobile, server and desktop models to render images. Building SkiaSharp is mostly straight forward. The main issue is the multiple dependencies for each platform. However, these are easy to install as they are found on the various websites. If you are just working on managed code, it is even easier as there mays to skip all the native builds. Because there are multiple distros of Linux, and we cannot possibly support them all, we have a separate NuGet package that will contain the supported binaries for a few distros.

    Twitter Color Emoji SVGinOT Font

    Twitter Color Emoji SVGinOT Font

Twitter Unicode 13.1 emoji color OpenType-SVG font

A color and B&W emoji SVG-OpenType / SVGinOT font built from the Twitter Emoji for Everyone artwork with support for ZWJ, skin tone diversity and country flags. The font works in all operating systems, but will currently only show color emoji in Firefox, Thunderbird, Photoshop CC 2017+, and Windows Edge V38.14393+. This is not a limitation of the font, but of the operating systems and applications. Why doesn't it work on Chrome? Regular B&W outline emoji are included for backwards/fallback compatibility. SVG in Open Type is a standard by Adobe and Mozilla for color OpenType and Open Font Format fonts. It allows font creators to embed complete SVG files within a font enabling full color and even animations. There are more details in the SVGinOT proposal and the OpenType SVG table specifications.

    Typed.js

    Typed.js

    A JavaScript typing animation library

Typed.js is a library that types. Enter in any string, and watch it type at the speed you've set, backspace what it's typed, and begin a new sentence for however many strings you've set. Rather than using the strings array to insert strings, you can place an HTML div on the page and read from it. This allows bots and search engines, as well as users with JavaScript disabled, to see your text on the page. You can pause in the middle of a string for a given amount of time by including an escape character. CSS animations are built upon initialization in JavaScript. But, you can customize them at your will!

    gganimate

    gganimate

    A Grammar of Animated Graphics

gganimate extends the grammar of graphics as implemented by ggplot2 to include the description of animation. It does this by providing a range of new grammar classes that can be added to the plot object in order to customize how it should change with time. Here we take a simple boxplot of fuel consumption as a function of cylinders and let it transition between the number of gears available in the cars. As this is a discrete split (gear being best described as an ordered factor) we use transition_states and provide a relative length to use for transition and state view. As not all combinations of data are present there are states missing a box. We define that when a box appears it should fade into view, whereas it should shrink away when it disappears. Lastly, we decide to use a sinusoidal easing for all our aesthetics (here, only y is changing) gganimate is available on CRAN and can be installed with install.packages('gganimate').

    satellite-image-deep-learning

Resources for deep learning with satellite & aerial imagery

This page lists resources for performing deep learning on satellite imagery. To a lesser extent classical Machine learning (e.g. random forests) are also discussed, as are classical image processing techniques. Note there is a huge volume of academic literature published on these topics, and this repository does not seek to index them all but rather list approachable resources with published code that will benefit both the research and developer communities. If you find this work useful please give it a star and consider sponsoring it. You can also follow me on Twitter and LinkedIn where I aim to post frequent updates on my new discoveries, and I have created a dedicated group on LinkedIn. I have also started a blog here and have published a post on the history of this repository called Dissecting the satellite-image-deep-learning repo.
