HWSensors is a software bundle that includes drivers and applications that allow you to access information from hardware sensors available on your Mac. FakeSMC is an open source SMC device driver/emulator developed by netkas (http://netkas.org/). NOTE: FakeSMC & Plugins starting from v915 provide additional sensors information to HWMonitor then running on Macs. By installing FakeSMC on real Mac you should consider you know what you are doing and how to recover your system if something will goes wrong. Hercules is an open source software implementation of the mainframe System/370 and ESA/390 architectures, in addition to the new 64-bit z/Architecture. Hercules runs under Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X. Hercules was created by Roger Bowler and is maintained by Jay Maynard. Jan Jaeger designed and implemented many of the advanced features of Hercules, including dynamic reconfiguration, integrated console, interpretive execution and z/Architecture support. A dedicated crew of programmers is constantly at work implementing new features and fixing bugs.

Dioscuri is an x86 computer hardware emulator written in Java. It is designed by the digital preservation community to make sure that documents and programs from the past can still be accessed in the future. Dioscuri is durable and component-based.

This project aims at PC emulation of a Renault car CD changer. With a small hardware interface, a carPC can then talk to the head unit, activate its SPDIF input, understand commands and send information back to the display.

The Wolfram Machine project is an effort to create a set of documentation and useful modules (both hardware and software) for a computing architecture based on the mathematical theories presented in Steven Wolfram's book _A_New_Kind_of_Science_.

This project aims to provide a lightweight and easy to use library for interfacing with the Wii Remote. Applications that demonstrate the use of the library and the Wii Remote have also been developed.
