BSAC
Brewing System Automation Controller
BSAC is a brewing system automation and control software that is useful for any hobbyist building an advanced system for him self as well as for small time breweries. BSAC is developed on the brew-in-a-bag (or brew-in-a-bucket) concept and mainly suitable for this kind of setup. The author has a high-tech, stainless steel version of this setup with pump and valves. Presently the software runs on a Linux controller (ARM based) and with a certain display HW. It is also being ported to a standard Linux PC with standard display. The project contains an abstraction layer to make all sorts of porting to other target platforms easier. This product is an interface to be plugged to a domotic system. The speech recognition is done by an arduino UNO board and an EasyVR shield. Available oral commands are generated from a house description file in XML format. The oral commands have to be trained for a specific users. For this purpose 2 interfaces are provided: a command line interface and a web application. These interfaces allow to visualize oral commands, train and delete trainings. -

The project is titled “Dream bathroom,” which will be 14x14 feet (196 square feet). This exquisite bathroom will provide a ‘true spa experience,’ for the client. The completed bathroom will include a digital temperature control thermostat, a fully loaded two person steam shower, a large jetted soaking tub, heated marble floors, a double vanity, a remote skylight, fireplace and have a flat screen TV mounted into the wall. -

New improved iptables tool, based on my earlier project Easy Linux Firewall, but rewritten from scratch using Perl. It's a simple rewrite for now, but i am working on adding some new features like. Some of the improvements will be web administration panel, automatic filtering daemon, TCP listener providing easy to use API so you can integrate it on many servers and centralize them in to one Web interface to control all of them. I am open to new ideas and also any kind of contributors, because I'm working on this alone and it isn't easy, so you are welcome to help. -

Extended NEC Protocol Library
Decoding Extended NEC Protocol using PIC18F4550 and TSOP1738
Whenever a key is pressed on TV Remote Controller, TSOP1738 decodes it 38KHz burst and then micro-controller decodes this signal coming from the remote. And if signal is decoded properly then Address and Command is displayed on the 16x2 LCD of the development board. If there is some problem in the command then 0xFF is displayed which means data not decoded properly and there is some problem. TSOP1738 is connected to RB0 pin and my board has 8-LED's connected to PORTB of micro-controller, so i can't use LED connected to RB0 pin and can use LED's connected to RB1 to RB7 pin. So if someone presses key-1 on remote LED connected to RB1 pin glows, similarly on pressing key-2 on remote, LED connected to RB2 pin glows and so on, if someone press key-0 on remote, all LED's connected to PORTB will turn off. NOTE: There is some problem with my board LED connected to RB5 that's why it doesn't glow when pressing Key-5 on remote, but if you see the video, data is displayed properly on 16x2 LCD. -

Sadly, PRTG Network Monitor does not offer sensors for monitoring AVM Fritz!Box SmartHome devices. So here's a Script to build a "ssh advanced sensor" for PRTG to monitor your SmartHome devices. It's based on PHP using the advanced home automation (AHA) interface of a modern Fritz!Box device. Needs a tiny Linux machine with SSH to host it. It should also be easily adoptable to support Nagios & others. GROWbox Supervisor System (GROWSS)
Automated Plant Environment Growing System using Raspberry Pi
GROWbox Supervisor System (GROWSS) is a grow box or grow cabinet environmental controller. GROWSS uses a Raspberry Pi (RPI) & Grove sensors to monitor and control the environment in your grow box or cabinet. Environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, & smoke (from fire) are monitored and displayed on a terminal connected to the RPI & on a mobile app. GROWSS also controls the exhaust fan and grow lights based on the time interval (ie. 12 hours on/12 hours off) & from environmental factors, temp & humidity. The environmental values are saved to the local storage every 15 minutes and when an alarm is present. Hi & low values are also saved. The LEDs on the case & the mobile application indicate if there is a high/low temp alarm, hi/low humidity alarm, soil moisture alarm, or smoke alarm. A speaker (buzzer) is activated on the case if there is a smoke alarm. 2 other LEDs indicate if either the exhaust fan is on or if the humidifier is on. -

Google Assistant for Single Board Computers. In May of 2017, Google Released it’s AIY Projects kit. Initially not many had access to it, so that is when I started modifying the Google Assistant SDK adding AIY like features to help out the ones left without the kit. Every project requires a name and so I named it GassistPi (“G”oogle “Assist”ant on “Pi”). Fast forwarding to date, the project works not only on Pi boards but on a number of other platforms. It has some interesting custom actions for both entertainment and home automation needs. The primary language of coding is Python and the project has been structed in a way to allow even inexperienced programmers to modify existing codes and implement their own custom actions. This is a project for the single-board community, driven by the community. -
