gImageReader is a simple Gtk/Qt front-end to tesseract. KmPg2 is a graphical MPEG2 encoder frontend, for producing 100% DVD compatible MPEG2 streams from any input video. It uses the powerful video processing tools and the encoder from the MJPEGTools project. Adding subtitles and AC3 streamcopy are supported.

Pearl Linux puts a twist on this XFCE Desktop release by using Kwin as pre configured default window manager. Available in both amd64 and i386 it also updates from the Ubuntu 18.04 LTR supported until April 2023. All releases from Pearl up till now have always included Compiz. Since the last time I used Kwin the wobbly windows, magic lamp minimize effect etc were not really were I felt it needed to be. Now Kwin really is very smooth and it is a pretty nice alternative to compiz for xfce. As with all other Pearl releases you can count on the usual software bundle we preinstall. Use your favorite software to flash ISO to USB.

SVG Icons project has a goal to provide Open-Source reference implementation of SVG icon themes for leading Linux and UNIX Desktop Environments, in particular (but not limited to) KDE and GNOME Desktops environments, FXCE and LXDE.

A collection of wallpapers (at 1920x1200 resolution) to fill some gaps in the UNIX desktop. All are licensed by Creative Commons Share Alike 3.0. All were created manually and with the tools Gimp, Inkscape and Blender by Bruno Maia de Andrade for Vertigini Studio Web & Design.
