Open Source C++ Libraries

Cisco has taken their H.264 implementation and open-sourced it under BSD license terms. Development and maintenance will be overseen by a board from the industry and the open-source community. Furthermore, we have provided a binary form suitable for inclusion in applications across a number of different operating systems and made this binary module available for download from the Internet. We will not pass on our MPEG-LA licensing costs for this module, and based on the current licensing environment, this will effectively make H.264 free for use on supported platforms. OpenH264 is a codec library which supports H.264 encoding and decoding. It is suitable for use in real-time applications such as WebRTC. Constrained Baseline Profile up to Level 5.2 (Max frame size is 36864 macro-blocks). Arbitrary resolution, not constrained to multiples of 16x16. Rate control with adaptive quantization, or constant quantization.

MAC functions: HMAC, Poly1305. Key derivation functions: PBKDF2, scrypt, Argon2, HKDF. Includes sample command-line tools: - 'digest' - for calculating and verifying file checksum(s) using any of the supported hash algorithms (similar to md5sum or RHash). - 'cryptor' - for file encryption using Serpent-256 algorithm in AEAD mode. This project has been migrated to GitHub : https://github.com/vlachenal/anch-framework AnCH framework aims to provide utility classes for some common programming features. Features are implemented to be used as simply as possible. This framework was initially a way to test new C++ specifications (C++11) and to test C++ design patterns and tricks. Only POSIX systems are supported for now. Others could be supported later. (Partial) Doxygen documentation can be found on project home page.

Microsoft SEAL is an open-source homomorphic encryption library that allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data, with no need for any decryption. Developed by the Cryptography and Privacy Research group at Microsoft, it enables software engineers to build end-to-end encrypted data storage and computation services that never have to procure the customer's key. Microsoft SEAL is very easy to use, compile and run in many different environments. Homomorphic encryption is an encryption scheme that allows the cloud to compute directly on the encrypted data, without requiring the data to be decrypted first. This results in encrypted computations remaining encrypted, decrypted only by the data owner using the secret key.

A kind of encryption named "simple stream encrypt". The length of plaintext segment or the length of key is not limited, but must greater than zero. The lengths of every plaintext segment in a process don't require equivalency.

Tink is a multi-language, cross-platform, open source library that provides cryptographic APIs that are secure, easy to use correctly, and hard(er) to misuse. Tink is an open-source cryptography library written by cryptographers and security engineers at Google. Tink's secure and simple APIs reduce common pitfalls through user-centered design, careful implementation and code reviews, and extensive testing. Tink helps users without a cryptography background safely implement common cryptographic tasks. At Google, Tink has been deployed in hundreds of products and systems. Cryptography is difficult to get right. With Tink, you can encrypt or sign data with just a few lines of code, with built-in security guarantees to help you avoid pitfalls. Tink adds security protections on top of well known libraries like BoringSSL and Java Cryptography Architecture and shows them right in the interfaces, so auditors and tools can quickly find gaps.
