It was originally started to search the content in pdf files under the project "HAWK Search". Findability 4 All is a web-portal written in php/ajax/ecmascript/xml based on the four-tier web model. It is made of four modules: Core, Formatter, Database/Search Engine, Application Logic. The project has started as a univeristy project.
