netleak is a collection of small perlscripts that detects connectivity between network segments. It is mostly useful to detect "leaks" in large organizations that have private network segments physically separated from the Internet.

This software is designed to run on all POSIX system to log SMA Sunny Boy Inverter data into an MYSQL database via RS485 *ONLY*. It includes scripts to display the data using Highcharts via a webpage. SNMPGraph is a simple graphing tool for SNMP information containing a perl script to update the database and a PHP webinterface for viewing the graph. It uses rrdtool and the snmpget command.

Syslog2db, Syslog to Database, is a log parser that inserts log entries into databases through the PERL DBI and DBD interfaces. In its current beta form, it takes advantage of syslog-ng's ability to format the output of its syslog entries.

Tarantoga is an open source lightweight event management system for events from monitoring and more, with similar functionality to IBM Tivoli TEC, Master Cell, or BMC BEM. It supports your ITIL/ITSM event management process. It relies on MongoDB to store the events and Perl as rule programming language. GUI and backend are seperate tools that communicate only via the MongoDB. Tarantoga understands EIF, so you can send events with "postemsg", "msend -e", and the tarantoga tool tsend. Via EIF, you can also connect other element managers, or TSM or .... Connect Nagios, Zabbix, OpenSMART, etc. with tsend as notification action. An SNMP adapter is not yet included but can be added easily.
