    Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents

    For the purpose of policy simulation in coupled social-ecological systems (e.g. energy supply), a credible modelling of actors – especially citizens – and their decision processes is needed. This requires a framework capable of handling high numbers of heterogeneous agents (several hundreds of thousands). LARA (Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents) meets these requirements and fills the gap between frameworks without built-in psychological foundations and full-fledged cognitive architectures which are both not viable options in this context. LARA provides prefabricated components of an agent’s decision process like perception, memory, and different modes of decision making. These components are psychologically plausible, i.e. based on appropriate psychological results and theories. Moreover, interfaces for basic learning and social influence are available.

    LIME

    LIME is a software tool for creating multiphysics simulation codes.

    The Lightweight Integrating Multiphysics Environment for coupling codes (LIME) is a small software package for creating multiphysics simulation codes. LIME is intended to be especially useful when separate computer codes (which may be written in any standard computer language) already exist to solve di fferent parts of a multiphysics problem. LIME provides the key high-level software (written in C++), a well defi ned approach (with example templates), and interface requirements to enable the assembly of multiple physics codes into a single coupled-physics simulation code. To achieve its flexible lightweight design objectives, LIME 1.0 requires that some amount of customized software be written each time a new multiphysics application is created. Also, modest high-level revisions or modifications to most stand-alone physics codes may be required to meet interface requirements. Detailed descriptions of these requirements together with example cases are provided in a users guide.

    3D vehicle simulator in which vechicle's configuration as a whole (articulated body) , is represented by a 'vector' of generalised coordinates. so concepts like usual position and orientation of main body and wheels is all defined by the generalised coordinates.Using Lagrangian dynamics, theese coordinates are evolving in time in a realistic manner according to F=ma but as if there were also all constraint forces concretasing the presence of joints: hinge, prismatic, rigid connection, etc. all derivatives are done with finite differences, so it's all simple. in 3 videos I explain all the mechanics and its simulation up to this simple but pow method.Pure Lagrangian mechanics until now has not been used much or at all,in simulation videogames,but i decided to try it because it was promising, very simple compared to the fnal results, and there was not much docu on its use in simulation games: this lack was completed now. will com also a non-GL version vid: http://youtu.be/J8fWg_xFEwk
