PuSSH is Pythonic, Ubiquitous SSH, a Python wrapper/script that runs commands in parallel on clusters/ranges of linux/unix machines via SSH, ideally where SSH is configured to use Kerberos, RSA/DSA keys, or ssh-agent as to avoid password authentication.

PyLine is a shell that is designed for users who want a easier alternative to cmd, but it is in its earlier stages, so it may not have as many commands. Works on Linux and Windows, and may work on Mac.

QuTTY is a multi-tabbed, multi-paned SSH/Telnet client with a terminal emulator. The goal is to support advanced features similar to iterm2. Just download and try it. This Linux script helps people learn how to program routers. It has a GUI and a terminal that can be used simultaneously. GUI command output appears on the terminal, along with the results. The terminal is always available and interactive.

A simple API, written in C, for accessing the Serial ports in a consistent way across Multiple desktop and embedded platforms. This has allowed programs for embedded devices to be mainly developed on the desktop, where test and debug is much easier.
