    Radegast is a virtual world client compatible with Second Life and OpenSimulator. Its main purpose is to provide an alternative client to Linden Lab-derived virtual world viewers. There is a strong focus on accessibility and non-3D interaction. Given the current nature of changes in Second Life, I felt it was prudent to take on another abandoned text-focused viewer. Introducing MEGAbolt, a fork of the METAbolt viewer which was abandoned by its author almost eight years ago. Keep in mind, this is the first version and much has changed under the hood. It has been brought up to date and only supports Windows x64 currently and is built against the .NET 5 platform. Like Radegast, it utilizes the LibreMetaverse library and now shares much of the same code as Radegast does, which should make maintaining both viewers more manageable.

    Understanding the anatomy of complex organs such as the human brain can be a challenge for students, so there is a definite advantage given to students who can experience the structures in a spatial way through real or virtual experiences. Since 2016, the Marquette Visualization Lab has been utilizing a dataset of 3 and 7 Tesla MRI scans from the Structural Informatics Group at University of Washington to visualize the structures of the brain in their Cave, utilizing the Unity game engine and 10 stereoscopic 3D projectors. Most MRI scans are presented as a volumetric rendering, but this dataset is unique because it was fully labelled and parcellated, allowing lab users to not only view the structures of the brain, but also virtually dissect it in a large scale, collaborative virtual reality environment. This year, in the interest of making the learning experience more mobile and accessible, the visualization was ported to the Oculus Quest.

    Digital Diceworks Locomotion System (DDLS) is an innovative movement system designed for use within Virtual Reality (VR) environments. It was designed to meet the need for a better way explore virtual worlds while reducing discomfort but still maintaining the immersive experience. DDLS is based on the observations of natural movement in the real world, simplfied for ease of use but robust enough to give you the freedom to perform fantastic feats. We took those observations and noticed something very important to creating our locomotion system, the motions users would initial make. When you start walking in the real world, you start by taking small step, if you were going to start running you were to start with a bigger step. The difference in these “initial motions” is the distance at which you moved from where you started, your origin. This is the core concept of the DDLS.

    An add-on for Kerbal Space Program (KSP) to enable the use of a virtual reality headset (HTC Vive, Valve Index, Windows MR, Oculus Rift, etc), as supported by OpenVR. Supports in-flight IVA, and room-scale VAB / SPH. This is a forever-WIP mod to allow the use of VR headsets in KSP. The primary focus is for flight control in IVA, but can also be used for room-scale viewing inside the VAB or SPH. IVA in VR puts you inside the cockpit of your craft. You can look around (and walk around if you have the physical space around you). Currently, it is possible to interact with cockpit instrumentation provided by the RPM mod (see note below); more immersive features for the cockpit may come sometime in the future. The goal is to replace the use of the keyboard and mouse entirely with interactive cockpit controls (buttons, switches, control sticks, throttles, etc.).

    OutcropVR is a toolkit for geologists. One aspect of OutcropVR is of building a scene to view in VR. OutcropVR supports creation of real-world landscape data from coordinates or georeferenced models, as well as localization from UTM values. The other aspect is the "game" mode tools. You can fly around your favorite outcrops and see unique angles that are impossible or difficult to get in real life. With the laser pointer tool, you can create lines and planes that then display the trend/plunge or strike/dip. Use the Unity menu to select Tools/Localize Photogrammetry Model from UTM. This function takes in a photogrammetry .obj file that is in UTM coordinates and converts it into smaller numbers so that Unity can work with it. If a texture file is supplied as well, it will be mapped onto the object.

Most of the scripts were provided by Udacity. I have edited them to match my needs. Most of the models and textures are provided by Udacity starter files. I used some images for texturing the particles. The main target platform is android mobiles to use it with cardboard viewer. The main focus in this project is the design issues of the VR experience. So you might find a lot of stuff about testing and designing. But trust me it’s all about making the user have a great VR experience. Puzzler is a mobile VR application for new VR users which challenges them to solve a familiar type of puzzle in a new way.

    A software package of Unity to use HTC VIVE Pro Eye, a head-mounted display with virtual reality technology, for assessment of saccadic eye movement. C# programming file to configure the measurement system. C# programming file to disable the tracking of head movement of the VR headset. If the tracking is active, the position of the stimuli targets for saccade measurement changes when the user moves the head. Data of eye movement are recorded in a text file. The text file is created under the folder of SaccadeVR_ViveProEye. Unixtime of the computer is recorded in a specific text file when the saccade task starts in each saccade trial. With the recorded time, the latency (response time) of saccadic eye movement is calculated. We use version 2 in SRanipal SDK to measure the eye movement and to enable eye data callback function to continue to record the data of ocular movement independently of the main thread of the program.

    A simple notification system to display plain text in VR for Unity engine. Please go to the release page to download the package. Import the package into your own project, simply drag the "NotificationVR" prefab to the scene. Then, in your own script, call "SimpleNoteVR.Instance. Notify(string words, float lingertime)" to trigger plain text notifications.([lingertime is the duration that your notification will last for]). You can also choose to call "SimpleNoteVR.Instance.Notfiy_Hold(string words)". This function will instead keep the notification in place until you call "SimpleNoteVR.Instance.Notfiy_Release" to release it. Notify_Hold/Notify_Release functions might be useful in cases like notifying players a loading process is ongoing/finished.
