AutoAP is a script that continuously scans for open Wi-Fi connections, tests them for validity, and connects to the strongest signal. If the connection is lost, the script scans again and finds the strongest valid signal again, and maintains a continuous connection to the internet in a mobile or portable environment. The script paremeters are highly configurable, including ability to configure secure connections. AutoAP is an add on to DD-WRT that allows routers to continuously scan for and connect to open (and predefined WEP) wireless networks. Ultimately the goal is to develop an easily deployable firmware that facilitates fast and easy mesh network creation. Typically, you would use this script on your router while in Repeater Mode, Client Mode, or Client-Bridged Mode.

Comgt is a command line tool for controlling, configuring and interacting with Option Wireless 3G and 2G ( HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM) data devices within the Linux environment.

Scan for WiFi devices, block selected connections, create dozens of networks and confuse WiFi scanners! Version 3 is in development. It is stable to use, but it is very different. It is command-line based, which allows it to offer not just more features, but make them more customizable. This software allows you to easily perform a variety of actions to test 802.11 wireless networks by using an inexpensive ESP8266 WiFi SoC (System On A Chip). The main feature, the deauthentication attack, is used to disconnect devices from their WiFi network. No one seems to care about this huge vulnerability in the official 802.11 WiFi standard, so I took action and enabled everyone who has less than 10 USD to spare to recreate this project. I hope it raises more attention on the issue. In 2009 the WiFi Alliance actually fixed the problem (see 802.11w), but only a few companies implemented it into their devices and software.

Remote control software for applications using wi-fi or bluetooth.

wavemon is a wireless device monitoring application that allows you to watch signal and noise levels, packet statistics, device configuration and network parameters of your wireless network hardware. It should work (though with varying features) with all devices supported by the Linux kernel. Apart from debian/ubuntu packages and slackbuild scripts for wavemon, this repository contains the full source code.

Tomato USB is a fork of popular Tomato firmware (http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato) for Broadcom-based routers. This fork adds built-in support for USB port, wireless-N mode support, support for several newer router models, and various enhancements.

The WiFi Guard Dog project is a complete and embeddable captive portal solution for wireless community groups or individuals who wish to open free HotSpots while preventing abuse of their connection. Go to dev.wifidog.org to download the latest version.

IEEE 802.15.4 networkong stack covers PHY and MAC layers (PHY layer implemented in hardware and MAC optionally implemented in software). Also 6lowpan (IPv6 packet encapsulation) is implemented for use by IEEE 802.15.4 and BT LE networks. Note: due to licensing restrictions (and despite project's name) we do not plan to implement any ZigBee related stack parts.

As long I do not get any feature request, I will just fix bugs.

Zulu is a light weight 802.11 wireless frame generation tool to enable fast and easy debugging and probing of 802.11 networks. It has an intuitive command line interface and operates with the madwifi-ng network drivers.

A console-based wireless scanner for Apple AirPort Wireless Cards on Mac OS X

The SDIO-Linux project provides an open source SDIO-stack. The stack comes complete with drivers for the Host and Bus controllers, SD/MMC memory cards, SDIO-bluetooth and Atheros’ WLAN driver.

pwntooth is designed to automate Bluetooth Pen-Testing. It scans for devices, then runs the tools specified in the pwntooth.conf; included blueper, bluesnarfer, Bluetooth Stack Smasher (BSS), carwhisperer, psm_scan, rfcomm_scan, and vcardblaster.
