This is a free and open-source style and grammar checker forked from Languagetool. This project intends to be a full-blown software editor for French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and many other languages that enhances LanguageTool with extended rules — with emphasis on style rules —, and enables many rules disabled by default on LanguageTool project. OOoLilyPond (OLy) is an Extension for OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. With OLy, you can include musical notation within text and presentation documents. This is a modified version of TeXsword (https://sourceforge.net/projects/texsword/ ) to convert tex files into docx files with use of TeX4ht (http://www.tug.org/tex4ht/ ). TeX4ht is a tool to convert tex files to html files. The html file can be saved as docx file via Microsoft Word. A disadvantage of the normal tex4ht flow is that the resulting mathematical formulas cannot be edited. TeX4ht converts formulas to images. LaTeX2docx fixes exactly this deficit. LaTeX2docx is based on TeXsword which is a tool for creating and editing tex formulas in MS Word. With both tools there is an opportunity to convert a tex file into a docx file and edit a tex document in Word. LaTeX2docx has two variations. The config file approach and the text file approach. Both approaches have their advantages and disadvantages.

Corrupt Office 2007 Extractor will extract the text/data from corrupt docx, xlsx, and pptx files where the respective MS Office files error out and refuse to open. In advanced mode the program can fix the zip structure of "Office Open XML" format files, a step which I now recommend despite our dissuasive blurb which comes up when you start that function. Advanced mode also allows recovering images and includes is a basic editor for editing the corrupt XML subfiles.
