An implementation of DSSSL, a style language to format SGML or XML documents. OpenJade contains backends for various formats (RTF, HTML, TeX, MIF, SGML2SGML, and FOT). This project also maintains OpenSP.

The gawkextlib project provides several extension libraries for gawk (GNU AWK), as well as libgawkextlib containing some APIs that are useful for building gawk extension libraries. These libraries enable gawk to process XML data, interact with a PostgreSQL database, use the GD graphics library, and perform unlimited precision MPFR calculations. These extensions work with GNU AWK version 4.1.1 or later. We have created a framework for packaging gawk extensions, and we welcome further contributions. Recent additions include haru, redis, and select for I/O multiplexing.

CookXml is a powerful dynamic XML data binding tool for Java. It is designed to be easily extensible and yet simple to use, with advanced exception handling. CookSwing and CookSwt are tag libraries for CookXml to do XML->GUI (XUL) for Swing and SWT.

For several apps, XML can house HTML code within its tags. However, there are many html syntax marks that are not permitted in XML such as < or >. Thus this simple program will allow a user to convert HTML code to XML friendly code and vice versa.

This project is now abandoned in favour of MorganaXProc-III which implements XProc 3.0: https://sourceforge.net/projects/morganaxproc-iiise/ MorganaXProc is a full implementation of XProc: An XML Pipeline Language (W3C Recommendation 11 May 2010) written in Java, supporting all required and optional steps, the steps proposed on EXProc.org and also the document templating steps "p:in-scope-names" and "p:template". XPath 2.0 or XPath 3.0 is used as expression language. XSLT and XQuery are supported out of the box, while a flexible connector mechanism also allows to employ your favorite XSLT and XQuery processors. The current version is 1.0.x. It is very close to the recommendation with all related tests of the XProc Test Suite passed.
