Dear MiguelDP, The PCB is not mandatory to build the hardware because there are not so many wires. It seems some SD boards are poor (see nhc14 comment on ECG Logger page). There are also SD Cards that are not very good (too much consumption). Maybe you have already fixed the problem otherwise could you tell me more about the issue ?
hi, In the user manual it seemed like you made your own custom PCB for the holter. Are you willing to also release those or do you prefer for those to stay private? I'm asking because I've hit a block in the project. I've completely made the holter but it corrupts the sd card data for some reason. I've already gone over the schematic quite a few times but I can't find what error I made. The console also doesn't output any errors. Note, I can perfectly record using my laptop however it would be nicer...

New v3 application and firmware can run on old hardware with limitations. Upgrade the old hardware to v3.
Hello, i like to test this new version, the new Pc V3 version need to use the lasst 3 version of arduiono Hex file. This have a RTC new hw thst I need to wire in my arduino holter hw 1.6, but I do not find nowhere information about the new schemstic with the rtc. Could you give me how to find it? It is possible to install the new arduino V3 version without RTC hw instslled?
Hello, only need to update de Pc Sw to 3.1 2 and use the same 1.6 in the arduino in order to support V1 to V6 polarity? Or need to upgrafe the arduino to version 3 too? Other question about the version 3 of the arduino Hw, this version is compatible with previous hw or need a real time clock hw ?
Latest 3.1.2 version is able to support correct signal's polarity for V1 to V6 (in alpha test).
Dear Carlos, Keep in mind that we use an Arduino Nano for this project with only 30KB of memory for the code. The problem you encountered is due to the wiring of the cable probably and can be solved by using the correct electrodes or placement not matching the electrode's colors. Please refer in the PDF documentation to the "Electrode's inversion" section where I show the different electrode's combinations and their related ECG diagrams to correct this issue. I hope this will solve your problem.

Connected to arduino serial monitor. I press the event button, the output is: "Start recording ERR2" Does anyone have any idea what "ERR2" is? Without the source code I dont have a clue! Help, anyone?
Ok, I got it working as far as the holter interface seeing the board. I still need to troubleshoot why there is no pulse. probably loose connection. Can you see your SD card in the arduino IDE under tools ¦ serial monitor? if not, jumper a 10k resistor between CS and GND on the SD module. note: I had to install both the old arduino IDE and the latest: the old IDE because its compatible with my chinese nano clone and the new IDE because the old ones serial monitor does not have the 25000 baud required...
Similar problem here, no way to make ecg logger viewer find the device. But for checking your sd card , you could try the example in the Arduino IDE (https://lastminuteengineers.com/arduino-micro-sd-card-module-tutorial/).
i think it might be closer to working but looking at serial monitor I am getting error: No card, wrong chip select pin, or SPI problem? SD errorCode: 0X1,0X0 I formatted a 32gb SD card as 4gb then fat16, no luck, then i tried an 8GB card formatted as fat 32, still no luck. any ideas please?
addendum: I see that there are Required libraries but I am not sure where to install them, or indeed, where to get them - SdFat - Time
Windows 10, nano ATMega 328 clone: I managed up upload the ECG Logger v1.6.0 code with xloader @5700 baud, but was unable to communicate with it afterwards using ecglogger viewer. I tried it at all baud settings. I was finally able to read " no SD card" error messages by using the latest arduino IDE (which can operate at 250000 baud) and connecting using the "serial monitor". So I know the hex code uploaded successfully. (arduino V1 only goes to 115k baud) But I still cannot connect using the ECG...

Dear Ryan, Many thanks for your comment and sorry for the late reply. To render the ECG, I fill in a chart with data extracted from a buffer. It's not fast as you can notice it when displaying 5 min ECG from the browser. Neither can I display ECG while scrolling. I not a software designer therefore I haven't not found the best way to handle it. Regarding open source project, you can have a look at SigViewer (SF or GitHub) that display data such ECG signals.
