Check the sample rate. This was happening to my mp3 files that were 48 kHz. I converted them to 44.1 kHz and they play at normal speed.
Now I do have a bit more of a legitimate question - can I use lower and uppercase letters? When i edit the keystroke through the GUI, it takes any letter as if it is capital; i.e. 'L' shows in the JSON as '76' (capital L) , but if i manually change the JSON to the value of the line to '108' (lowercase L), the same result is happening then pressing L regardless of if CAPS LOCK is toggled or not. I am asking because I am trying to squeeze as many variations as possible out of my keypad that only allows...
please disregard. crossreferenced and discovered id are equal to decimal value of ascii
Keystroke ID values as seen in json
also when i use it if any other sound is going on it cancels the sound boards sound
cant hear the soundboard
The same thing happened to me and I realised what was wrong when opening the problematic sound files in Audacity : When the sound only plays in one ear, that means the track is mono instead of stereo. To fix this you can open the file in a sound editing software and duplicate it in a different track to then recombine them as one stereo track. Hope this helps :)
Certain sounds only playing in one ear
i additional installed a older java 7.8 version to my existing but this did not change anything.
fatal (java) error on start of install
No sound will play when i restart my computer unless i change the files on each bind. How do i fix this?
Hey so I made an account just to answer this, but I had the same problem and the way I solved it was to use the audio converter (Option > Audio converter) to convert the file to .wav format and then it played fine for me. Hope this helps!
Same history here with microphone injection
UTF8 or ASCII support
Okay nevermind i've read that it happends because of java 8 Thanks anyway :).
Program turns on after one minute also delayed sound.
Some binds play too fast not the file even after new profile or rebind help! :(
theres a setting on main screen, bottom right, its use PTT , uncheck that.
I noticed the delay is only there with Java runtime version 8... on version 7, the sounds are instant, but theres a problem when using hotkeys... the sounds are weird, some are slow, some sound glitched, but if you use same sound but clic play, you get the good sound... On java 8 there is no sound problems... except the delay start... with also slows the settings menu to open on java 8....
All of the files I use are already in .MP3 format. They also play properly in other applications.
The files I’m using are all MP3. They play fine in other apps. Thanks! This happens with some WAV format files. If this is the case try converting them to MP3 and trying again with those.

Cannot Unset Keybinding for Push To Talk.

appears to be a usb conflict, attempted updating via hd audio codec to no avail. Moved keyboard to seperate usb header and has resolved the issue. More than likely not associated with exp soundboard rather my own hardware producing an error.
