I regretfully liked InfraRecorder but kind of stopped using it; however, I still have it. I now use CDBurnerXP the majority of the time; they also have a portable version. Might have to really look or dig but they have it. I apply it. Read More
It sounds like the InfraRecorder program crashes immediately upon startup without producing useful log details, but crash dumps appear in AppData/Local/CrashDumps which could help diagnose the issue. This kind of problem may be related to corrupted configuration files or conflicts with the PortableApps launcher as others have suggested deleting settings.xml or running the executable directly without the launcher for stability. Troubleshooting steps like clean booting or disabling splash screens in...

I recently tried using InfraRecorder in both its 64-bit installer and portable versions, but unfortunately, it crashes immediately after showing the splash screen. The log file only notes that the program started, with no further details, though crash dumps do appear in the AppData/Local/CrashDumps folder. I’ve attached one of these dump files to help diagnose the issue. For those interested in troubleshooting or finding alternative solutions, I recommend you visit website and also check out resources...

That is like a driver conflict removing or disabling the extra burning plugin usually fixes it. Had a similar issue while using my Albert Heijn Bonuskaart for online orders and multitasking, and cleaning up background apps solved it quickly.

Looks great! Also, if anyone’s working on outdoor construction or site upgrades, you might want to check out this Asphalt Paving team — they handle everything from driveways to commercial lots really well. 👍
I’ve run into similar issues with InfraRecorder crashing on startup in Windows 11. Since you’re already seeing crash dumps, that confirms the app is failing right after initialization. A few things you could try: Compatibility Mode: Right-click the exe → Properties → Compatibility → run as Windows 7/8. Sometimes older apps behave better this way. Run as Administrator: Especially with portable builds, permissions can block execution. Check .NET/Visual C++ Runtimes: Make sure you’ve got the latest...
It sounds like the main issue is with Visual Studio not knowing where to look for the required headers and libraries. In most cases, just placing dependencies in the project folders won’t work—you need to go into Project Properties → VC++ Directories (or C/C++ → General and Linker → General) and explicitly set the Include Directories and Library Directories to the paths where those dependencies are located. Also, make sure you’re matching the correct architecture (x86 vs x64) when compiling, as mismatched...
It looks like InfraRecorder might be crashing due to a compatibility or dependency issue. Try running it in compatibility mode and make sure you have the latest Visual C++ Redistributable installed. Also, check if your antivirus such as sito web or any other antivirus is blocking it. If that doesn’t help, you might want to try an alternative like ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP.

Experiencing a crash at startup on Windows 11 can be frustrating and disruptive. This issue often stems from a variety of causes such as outdated system updates, corrupted system files, driver incompatibilities, or even overheating hardware. To address this, start by checking for the latest Windows updates to ensure your system is running the most stable version. Running system scans using tools like SFC (System File Checker) and DISM can repair corrupted or missing files that might cause crashes....

I was having trouble with my Windows 11 crashing right when it started, but I managed to fix it by following some simple steps. First, I made sure my Windows and all my drivers were up to date, since outdated software can cause issues. Then, I ran some built-in tools like the System File Checker (SFC) and DISM to repair any corrupted system files. I also checked my hardware just to be sure there were no overheating problems or faulty parts like RAM. To avoid software conflicts, I turned off Fast...
App looks solid And thanks for the paving tip always good to have a trusted crew for outdoor work, especially for bigger projects like commercial lots.

Hello, I tried both the (64 bit) installer and the portable version of InfraRecorder. On startup, I briefly see the splash screen, then the process quits. There is nothing in the log file except that the program was started. There are however crash dumps created in AppData/Local/CrashDumps, I have attached one here.
Infrarecorder not opening
Sadly I liked InfraRecorder but, kind of stopped using it, I do still have it though. I find myself using using CDBurnerXP mostly now, they have a portable version too. Might have to really look or dig but they have it. I use it....

Im having this problem too, anyone found a solution?
I guess it still doesn't have it? Too bad. This is what I came here specifically looking for. Guess I will keep looking (there are about 6 or 7 other open source projects that may have it - we'll see). Thanks for letting me know that IT DOES NOT have this capability. If it does, could someone please update this ticket/request? This is the first thing I found when searching on Google to see if Infrarecorder was capable of writing CD+G disks, so I'm sure others may see this and just keep looking elsewhere...
