Another update. Still fails with the same error if I fresh reinstall Python and skip either: pip install sofar pip install pyfar or pip install -e .

Finalize-HRTF-Simulation Issue
Hi, you can just send the .obj file to majorhon.officail@gmail.com I'll help you figure out what went wrong.
Hello, I also have problems of convergence with one of my 3D scans ... When I compute NumCalc.exe I don't have any troubleshootings, but then when I launch finalize_hrtf_simulation, it doesnt work because of the non convergence.. I tried to 2 times to make my 3d scan better but it is not sufficient. Can you tell me what do you mean by "trimming the 3D mesh" please ? Thank you !
Thank U so much!! As mentioned in the link, the issue was solved when I downgraded pyfar to 0.5.4. Non Convergence was also solved by trimming the 3D mesh. I have got the sofa files. But I still have a question: I put the sofa file in APL Virtuoso or Noisemakers Binaural studio, it sounds like the high frequency is lot more than real auditory, lot more than the default hrtf in the software, as well as the sofa files downloaded from other websites. The EQ spectrum shows that this is indeed the case....

Hello, sorry for missing the issue previously, When I see this my first guesses are: If you are playing with multiple overlapping grids (multiple points for the same angle where only radius differs) all of this is untested preview. Basically I made the scripts to show how to simulate the raw data, but as I have no use for multi-radius SOFA files I did not test if all post processing scripts can handle such data, Nor I know how will your software expect multi-radius SOFA file to look like. You just...
Hi, Can't say these are your main problems, but: 1. Warning around PyFar version conflict has a workaround - as explained in this ticket: https://github.com/Any2HRTF/Mesh2HRTF/issues/120 2. Non Convergence may actually be critical here - because it affects frequencies below 22.05 kHz - you need at least enough data to export 44.1 kHz SOFA file. If you see something else, please printout which sounds unusual. Also, everything is quite simple, commented Python code - no coding wizzardry. It is often...

Hi! Finally I added version info.
Hi, looks good - I assume it works. Could you please add a version information to the file itself? something like # v3.02 20xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (by xxxxxxxx) version = 'v3.02' # <<< for printouts. then I will merge it.

Linux: "Changing HRTF requires system re-start" I think I managed to put up to ten *.conf -Files, which setup different sofa-Files or HeSuvi-based wav files in my ~/.config/pipewire/pipewire.conf.d/ folder. To my ears it is possible using pavucontrol to change the applied filters on the fly without restarting the player. Just find you player in the playback tab and change the output. I tested this with mpv and vlc. In vlc you can change the used hrtf-conf in the application itself. Go to Audio/Device...
