    Hello, Same problem happened on my windows. When I run "openCONFIGURATOR.bat" under openCONFIGURATOR-1.4.1\windows\tools, it said cannot found "tclsh86" in my system. I found a file named "tclsh86t" under ActiveTcl folder, so I copied the file and rename it as "tclsh86", openConfigurator.exe can be launched. Hope this can help.

But I am not sure whether the 00000000_POWERLINK_CiA302-4_MN.xdd is conatining optional objects or not. Of course the CiA302-4 specific objects are defined in the Standardised Device Profile Area.     Hi Simon, This limitation is defined by the XDD. To enable more mapping objects you have to add the respective 18XX / 1AXX objects for TPDO and the 14XX/16XX objects for RPDO. Additionally you have to adapt the PDORPDOChannels, PDOTPDOChannels and PDORPDOChannelObjects, PDOTPDOChannelObjects feature in the XDD.     Hi, My understanding is that it is possible to have a maximum of 0xFE x 0xFE mapped objects per direction. But currently in openCONFIGURATOR , there is only 1 TPDO and 3 RPDO for a CN, this means 254 objects for TPDO and 3x254 objects for RPDO. So how can I get pass this limitation? Thanks, Simon

    Hi Simon, I have tried to reproduce the issue but I with the libs that I send earlier it works on my side: 1) After installing the version V2.2.1.201708040602 there is an issue that V1.54 of the boost libs do not exist. 2) After replacing the libs with the attached ones the issue is resolved and the ldd command shows that the linked libs are all existing. Can you please take a look at the ldd output of the libs in your installation. br Christoph

    Hi Simon, Ah I think now we are getting there. The version 201708040607 is linked against boost 1.54 but as it has a newer build date eclipse assumes it is the correct version to be used. Please deinnstalll the plugin and only install the V2.2.1.201708040602 again. This version is linked against boost 1.58 which is the default boost lib on your system. br Christoph

    Hi Christoph, I have been modifying the demo programs that came with openPOWERLINK 2.5.2 to send and receive more than 1 byte of data using 0x6000 for DigitalInput and 0x6200 for DigitalOutput. I modified both the xdd files and objdich.h to extend the number of sub-objects to 254. Using openCONFIGURATOR, I mapped 128 sub-objects to both TPDO and RPDO. These sub-objects are 2 bytes each. I have one MN and one CN. The cycle time is set to 8 ms. Using wireshark, I can see everything is working fine....

You can use all the mapping objects for mapping data of the same node which means a maximum of 0xFE x 0xFE mapping objects per direction. 2) This is defined in the DS 301 specification. 25000 is a best practice value therefore it is defined as default value. br Christoph

    Hi, XDD files are provided by the device manufacturer of the according device. E.g. if you are using I/Os from B&R, you can download the XDD package for POWERLINK I/O devices on the B&R homepage in the download section of the POWERLINK bus controller. If you create your own device, you have to provide the XDD yourself. Best regards, Wolfgang

    Hi, I'm very new in openConfigurator projects. I learn in your file openconfigurator-plugin-user-manual_V2.1.1.pdf, when I reach on point 6.1 there is modular_head_node.xdd. Where I can get it?? And also I learn on your youtube channel on tutorial part 1. There is anothe custom xdd file called POWERLINK_MN on CUSTOM_MN_XDD and for CN is POWERLINK_CN on CUSTOM_CN_XDD.     Hi Nicola, CrossTraffic is realized via CNs receiving the broadcast PRes from other CNs. What do you mean with double transmission channel? You can map multiple receive and transmit objects on the CN to realize the transmission of data between MN and CN. To configure cross traffic in openCONFIGURATOR you have to configure the transmitting nodes data and then the receiving nodes mapping. br Christoph

    Hi, Please disregard my previous post, I was reading off Raspberry Pi2 instructions regarding using openCONFIGURATOR. Now I understand that if I need to make certain changes, I simply import Demo_3CN into openCOnFIGURATOR. To do what I described (8 bit data followed by 16 bit and 32 bit data), I will probably need to create a custome XDD device/file. Simon
