On status of porting to GTK4

I am afraid not. The cost of migration from GTK3 to GTK4 is simply too high (much higher than I originally anticipated). In its current shape, Ranker can still handle videos for pairwise ranking using VLC and SDL2.. That is not perfect indeed, but at least it works.

Thank you. I am glad you found the project useful. Well, it will be still available. I am considering one more and last minor release that would be compilable with the most recent version of GTK+ 2 and MSYS2 on Windows. And also a self-contained binary distribution for Windows, with all .dlls included. The project deserves at least that much.

I just wanted to say thank you for Ranker. I've used it for years as I often compete in photo competitions, where the contestants vote on the entries, and the pairs ranking is very useful in ranking my favorites. I haven't come across anything else like it.
